Excellent work, fixed an engine vibration that had escaped my 2 previous services, usual expensive Mercedes oem part, but so smooth after the fix.
Also fixed my daughter's engine light and stalling problem. "It's driving really well" so happy daughter as well. Flagged upcoming issues with tyre wear and worn control arm bushes. So time to start saving again)

I had an exhaust issue that required attention. Lenny explained the options with me and I was able to have the repair done within a few days. The work done was of the highest quality and cost was the exact amount quoted.

Ok guys the air still only comes out the demister when on heat. But now there's no heat at all so my question is do I bring it back for the third time for U to look at or do I take it to my dad's petrol station at BP north rocks and have the mechanics there look at it? Tony and Lenny are amazing mechanics. They are honest, reliable and accommodating. I took my BMW in after the check engine light came on. Tony diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote that was very reasonable. I brought the car in for repairs and for its periodical service and now it drives like a dream! I have owned the car for four months and now (after the service) I finally feel like I am driving a fine German automobile. I highly, highly, recommend Hunter Street Automotive. You won't be disappointed at all.

Couldn’t speak better of this place from my first experience. The team fit me in on short notice, were knowledgeable in understanding the issue straight away and had the required part ordered, fitted and the vehicle ready to pick up all within the space of a couple of hours.

After being quoted a higher price for a replacement that wasn’t what was needed on my car beforehand, it was refreshing to have my problem solved with a very clear outline as to cost in such a quick manner.

They replaced seal on tapper cover, did a oil service. I drove to work and broke down due to water in and around my spark plugs from wen they wash it.i was stuck on the road for 3 hrs, I used mu insurance to tow the car back to them.i had to finish work earily to get my car, I use a taxi wen I got there I couldn't figure out how to use the voucher. They were rude to me n the taxi driver, they told him to leave.didn't apologise to me.nothing.they are rude and like to take advantage of people. I lost out 5 hrs that day.thanks alot

We have been using the services of Tony and his crew for many years having followed them from their previous location at St Ives.
We don’t mind now travelling the extra distance to the Hornsby location because we know we are going to get honest, reliable and very competent services at a reasonable cost and from an invariably helpful staff.

I recently moved to Hornsby and has been trying to find a good mechanic nearby. Me and my wife brought both cars to Lenny because it is literally just around the corner and reviews look good.
Lenny and his team did a great job on both of our cars. He helped me installing a catback exhaust for a very reasonable price and my wife car has been running very smoothly so far after a regular logbook service. They even managed to put my original exhaust in the back of my car and carefully wrapped, on which I bet they probably spent lots of time, considering how small is my car’s trunk space. They are Definitely gonna to be our long-term mechanic from now on.

I have had a lot of experience with this shop. Originally was decent and convenient. However, I’ve found new mechanics and have realised what was going on here.

I am certain they make up issues to repair where there are none, and just personally I doubt they even do these “repairs”. They bank on people not checking and having no idea about cars.

I drive a very reliable Japanese car; one of the most reliable models on the market. All kinds of stuff was being reported as faulty by Tony each time. “Oh, it’s an old car. ” he says, as if to justify these excessive repairs.

Once I moved and went to another mechanic shop, their bills for each service were so basic it shocked me. Almost nothing was going wrong with the car. Just usual replacement of consumables, occasionally a simple part that I know has been playing up. This has been consistent over two years now. The new mechanics say the opposite, “If more people drove cars like this, my job would be a lot easier. ”

After years of experience with Hunter St and other mechanics, and my car, I am certain this shop is just a cynical ripoff.

Had lenny fit a smaller resonator in my car, fix an exhaust leak and align my exhaust as it was hitting my rear diffuser, his attention to detail and welding quality is faultless, highly recommended
