Honest and straight forward. We were looking for a house for about 7 months we had some bad experiences with agents on the northern beaches (got told lots of lies) I think we spoke to about every agent in the area with the amount of houses we went to. We did have some trouble with our finances but Duane from Hunter Realestate helped us through our troubles. Glad we bought from one of the rare honest agents on the beaches.

Duane, Mitch, Jaz and Siggi are a winning team who really care about the customer. I’ve known Duane since 2008 and he’d alway been a class act, even when I chose to sell through a different Real Estate agent at that time. Many property transactions later, I promised myself I would give Duane a go this time around selling my house in North Narrabeen. This was my sixth property transaction and I must admit, my experience with Duane and his team was the best decision I’ve ever made. A friend of mine came to my house during an open home, and she said, observing Duane and team during an open home was impressive in terms of the whole team on site, ready to answer any questions and observing my privacy at all times, Duane never disclosed why I was selling whereas some Real Estate agents will divulge personal information about the seller that they should not be sharing with the public. I’ll never forget my first open house, I was under the pump and did not feel prepared. I wanted to pull out at the last minute however Mitch came over to help me get everything over the finishing line, including picking up my dogs’ mess in the yard. Jaz is such a delightful young lady, proactive, professional and always cool under pressure. Jaz and Mitch managed my two tenants who lived in studios on site who also had to be coordinated for open homes. Duane is a genuine stand out in a profession that can be likened to ‘used car sales’. Duane is anything but that; he gives the profession a good name in my opinion. There is a sincerity about Duane that helps him connect with buyers and sellers on an emotional level that fosters mutual trust and respect. He is a very safe and capable set of hands to rely on, and I have never doubted his ethics. Duane is well known and loved in our community. You just know when you are in his presence that you are dealing with a good human being, who is passionate about property and helping people achieve their goals. I knew I would not be disappointed choosing Hunter Real Estate. I got the price I wanted, and a wonderful experience along the way.

I've dealt with many realtors over the years and I've heard many "reasons" why a property sale may not receive the expected results, but in this instance, very realistic expectations were set at the start and a clear plan was agreed on, and I'm happy to say that all price expectations were blown out of the water in the best possible way.

The final negotiated price was well above expectations and the entire process was smooth and well communicated.

Siggi did a great job helping us buy our house. After exchange he did all he could to assist us as we were buying remotely from the UK and needed to organise all sorts of Trades access etc. I am sure the seller was very happy with him as well as he was a tough and persuasive negotiator.

Right from the start it was a great experience and process with Hunter Estate Agents. Duane has a fantastic team and it’s clear they really do work as a team. Before we put the home on the market, Duane provided great advice about how to get it ready for sale. That advice was invaluable. And once all the work was done, the Hunter team geared up quickly.

Jazmin, Hunter’s sales & marketing coordinator, was an integral part of the whole process. She was an excellent conduit of information, provided a great list of suppliers to help us get our home ready for sale, and she gave us great guidance and timelines for the preparation and then sales process. Communication was outstanding.

And when the sales campaign began, Duane gave us regular updates and feedback throughout. He was able to talk us through what the market was doing, how the open homes went and what people’s thoughts were on the home and also price estimations.

We were doing everything remotely because we had already moved to the far North Coast, so we needed a little more ‘hand holding’ at times. The Hunter team regularly checked on the house and made sure everything was okay. They did an awesome job. We were in safe hands.

Sale of Apartment in Elanora Heights.

There's good reason why Duane Hunter and his team at Hunter Real Estate Agents, Elanora Heights, has been repeatedly voted #1Agent for the area!

Not only did he realise a suburb record price for our apartment; he did so whilst managing a triangle of intertwined vendors & purchasers.

And he 'squared' this triangle off, by securing us a First Class rental in the area - which was a caveat of selling.

Hunters also acted as our managing agent, whilst our apartment was an investment property. I've not had a good experience of Managing Agents - be it as a Landlord or a Tenant. However, Duane's team were/are excellent across the spectrum of residential rental management.

So, if you're selling; buying; or renting - you'll not find a better agent to represent you.

Polite and friendly
Duane has been very polite and helpful with the sale of our property. He has been able to adjust his approach during the changes of government requirements during the pandemic. He was able to reach a suitable outcome in a short period of time.
