Hugh Bamford Reserve reviews
23 Hugh Bamford Reserve is in North Bondi bounded by steep sea cliffs to the east and Military Road to the west.
The reserve has a half size playing field complemented by a carpark, community hall, grassed amphitheatre and lookout with spectacular views south towards Bondi and onto Malabar Headland and west toward the city and harbour
Great park with a panoramic view towards Sydney Harbour Bridge. A local secret bringing in the New Year, watch fireworks!
My wandering didn’t go to waste when I reached the reserve. Stunning view of ocean from the top. The sound of ocean waves against the rocks and the cool breeze was really relaxing. Perfect for an evening walk to watch sunsets and capture amazing pictures
This is one of the highest cliff points on the southern side of Sydney. What is unique here is not the nice little park, oval, or the stunning coastal views, but that buried below the surface remains the intact 1890s 9.2 inch disappearing 'Bondi Gun' and its supporting bunkers, magazines, tunnels and machinery. An archeological dream for a future generation.
Beautiful views of Sydney Harbour and Bondi beach. Great place to bring dogs and usually not very crowded.
Difficult to access via road and some big steps up and down for elderly from Military Rd. Good view of Bondi but that's all
Wide open space park on the coast above Bondi. Junior sports field and an off-leash area for dogs. Nice for a view.
Hugh Bamford Reserve is a hidden gem - a favourite with people exercising, playing ball sports and walking dogs, with views over the ocean, Bondi and the City.
Great park with beautiful views of the city center and the ocean. Also in this park you can see a very beautiful sunset.
Pretty cool dog friendly field with a view to the city and Bondi Beach. Park in Wentworth Ave for easy access. You can't see the oven as it's covered by foliage.
Fantastic area with breath-taking views, great for a sunset picnic, playing with puppies or any sport activities.
Nice place to go for some time to relax but don't go on Sunday because they currently have archery.
The Sydney Opera House is the heartbeat of the town, Sydney has a wealth of other sights to provide its visitors. The city is notorious for its famed beaches, its famed vineyards, stunning outdoors, lively nightlife, and of the direction, it's the precise natural world that can be loved in one of the metropolis’s acclaimed zoos. Sydney isn’t just a must-visit destination, it also offers easy get entry to to the relaxation of Australia and closes by New Zealand. And in case you want it so much and think it could be a good place to relocate to, we've got good information for you.
This place has a great view of the entirity of Sydney you can see the Sydney harbour Bridge, centrepoint tower and the Opera house there is a company on Sunday that does archery you can also buy archery equipment for all ages
This is a grassy field only. The Buckler Gun is buried here but no signage of the site's significance.
There's a nice a huge green park on top of the small hill but what you'll see from there will astonish you. You've been watching this Bondi beach only on television but from this place everything is real, the besutiness of this beach and the area itself around. Also people told me that there's a free car park (small but free) of you're coming to Sydney and don't want to spend loads of money for parkings.
Great hall for dancing bu unfortunately floor is too sticky to do turns or slides causing leg damage.
Nice view of the Bondi beach and good sunrise. Perfect place for a walk or a run in the morning. Dont forget to put on your headphones and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Really great scenic spot that's also a park, high up enough that it's almost secluded, great place for an picnic or take the kids to throw a ball around. There's archery there too every Sunday, which is great fun and a safe activity, the archery has a booking system in place, just look them up under Bondi Archers or Sydney Archery, and that should do it.
