7The staff here are excellent. Helpful, polite and helped load everything onto my trailer. Makes bunnings look like amateurs. Give them a go for your next building project.
Went for some decking and the guys were fantastic. Helped us bundle and wrap it all up and loaded into the trailer. Fantastic service, thanks!
Easier to just go to Bunnings. Went in to pick up timber, tools, paint, doors, hardware and fasteners. Couldn't find the most basic plasterboard anchors after walking up and the down the aisles half a dozen times. No one lurking nearby to help, just talking to each other behind the counter. Bunnings have everything I needed, and always someone close by to point me in the right direction so I'm not walking in circles for half an hour.
By far worst customer service I have encountered. Old overweight man behind the counter made out I was an idiot for not knowing where the wrathertex display was, when I asked. (Out the front when I parked out the back) handed me the brochure, told me to go home and read it. I told him I have a sample in the car and showed him which one I needed. He still refused to order or sell it to me. I said right went to leave and said maybe wrathertex should have told you where the display was to save your embarrassment. I certainly was not embarrassed but he certainly should have. Anyway nhs is supplying the cladding for my entire house, eave sheets, fascia boards and fixings. I can't recommend NHS's service enough. Hudson's I really wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Nothing but good friendly service when I've visited. 5 stars for also being able to cut wood that the green shed can't and no charge.
Don't ever place a order with Hudson timber at Rutherford cause they say it will arrived in 3 days, 7 days later still hasn't arrived so I asked for my deposit back and told them to cancel the order but the manager refused to do that till l said I am going to ring fair trading, guess what he done then, handed my money straight back and I haven't been back since.
