8"Maximum return guarantee" is what they say on their website. 7.14% of my tax return was taken by HR Block. I went onto the ATO website the same night and realized I could've received more tax back if I had lodged my tax return by myself. What a joke.
Unprofessional people, after three months of waiting for my tax return I've got less money than what I was expecting and I signed on.
Really bad customer service, did my tax return with them was all fine after a few weeks and not receiving my tax return i had to call multiple times to find out what was going on only to be told they will call me back asap but not getting back to me from what i can tell they haven't finalised or sent it to the ato, will be making a formal complaint on my next phone call
I have been waiting for my return from your company rang up three times told different things each time the last was a ripper that my tax was withdrawn because I didn't have to put a rein but I payed my taxes but yeh
Customer service was great, but I was trying to change the date of my appointment, was frustrating, never received the email to change it, cause I couldn't find my envelope with my receipts but other than that, the accountant was friendly, I was given the maximum without receipts, upon leaving I thought, I have emails with bills, receipts for my mobile, internet and other miscellaneous items, such as Hard drives and such.that was in hindsight.
Hence the 3 stars -1 for not asking me, and -1 for not sending me that email, hope this is fair, I will continue to use H&R block regardless for its friendly and jovial staff
I continue to experience good, fast, affordable and professional service at the Liverpool branch of H & R Block and highly recommend them to anyone with either a simple or complex tax matter.
They are helpful. A bit pricey for a little work but they know what they are doing. It also takes way long for the return to enter my account compared to doing it yourself.
