7 Tax refund went to incorrect bank account despite giving bank account details written in paper and given to tax agent.
Got text from ATO that refund is coming on Tuesday. When there was no credit even after Friday, went onto check myself on ATO app and found that incorrect bank account details given.
During the entire tax file time, tax accountant was restless. She went outside the room at least x3 times to greet others, was making phone calls, and was rushing to complete the tax filing so as to make appointment for her friend who walked in without an appointment.
Absolutely pathetic and unprofessional. I am not even sure if this was done purposefully- she remained grumpy during entire time.
Had been filing Tax return with HR block since last 2 years and this is the worst experience. Hilariously she mentioned that all details will be thoroughly checked by her supervisor. Has been nominating the exact same bank account since over 15 years and still hasn’t picked up a zero missing from bank account details by supervisor.
Even charged me extra 25 $ or so and still I get this pathetic service.
God knows if I get a refund back.

Have come to your Parramatta branch for the past 2 years and have seen Barbara. She is excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Knows her business. Will definitely come back again next year.
Absolutely disgusting. Terrible communication. Running 30 mins behind, no acknowledgement. Advised both myself and my partner would need to be present for the appointment, then once we were finally seen we were told we couldn't be seen together because of COVID-19. That's fine, but there was zero communication about this and I advised it from the outset. Appalling from H&R Block. Don't waste your time here.
I did my tax return with Barbara and she was a lovely woman and very kind, and she did her best.
Loved our conversation during the tax lodgement.
