H&R Block

The only place I get mine and my family tax done, I have been coming here to see George from the norwest branch for over a decade now and will continue to.

I'm surprised to see some negative reviews - I had a great experience - good service - great outcome and fast return last year 2020 - will be using again this year!

Have waited since the 31.10.20 for my tax return to be processed. According to H&R Block I was due to get a refund. Just go my return in the post from the ATO and I owe over $500.00 to the tax dept. How could they get this so wrong. It has been a nightmare dealing with H&R Block. Firstly my return was not submitted for some weeks (which they tried to blame the ATO for), I was told I was getting a refund only to be sent a notice stating that I owed them money. Is anyone else having trouble with this organisation. This is a nightmare.

I've been going to Norwest H & R Block for several years now and the whole process continues to get better each year. I've been helped by a range of accountants and each has shown a professional and understanding that is to be commended. Thanks, I'll be back next year

At Norwest HR block, George is always professional getting us the best return possible, always accomodating our work schedule to fit our appointment time in to suit us.

Hi all, the manager of this office is extremely rude and condescending.

I recommend avoiding him and also hr block in general and finding a smaller firm who would have appropriate accountability. There is no personal care, it's risky as a client.

Hi all, the manager of this office is extremely rude and condescending. I was trying to have a tax return which was done wrong by another office which is now permanent closed unfortunately, fixed through him as the corporate office told me only his office at norwest could access my files.

He refused to contact them to chase it up or even clarify & kept trying to force me to bring my original documentation in and work from scratch. I tried to explain he needs to obtain the files from the closed office and he refused, repeatedly telling me he knows what he needs to do or not do. The way he speaks to people is innappropriate, I got so offended that I have completely lost it and am now requesting a full refund from HR block for the two tax returns done incorrectly, purely because of his behaviour (I have voice recorded it).

I recommend avoiding him and also hr block in general and finding a smaller firm who would have appropriate accountability instead of bouncing around many offices depending on which are open when who is on leave and who is experienced enough or has enough time given the volume they need to get through. There is no personal care, it's risky as a client.

Made a substantial error in my 2018 return, which my new tax agent picked up on. The 2018 amendment delayed my 2019 return being lodged. Even corrected forms they asked me to sign had errors on them, which I had to highlight multiple times.

I have been going to the Norwest office for some years now, ask for George, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

I had an appointment booked in earlier this week. I left work early to be there. I only found out once I was outside the building that my appointment had been cancelled via email a few hours before my appointment. (I’m a tradesman so I’m not sitting in an office checking emails throughout the day)
I called to find out why it was cancelled, the lady on the phone said she would take down my details and someone would call me back. No one ever called me back. Very very unprofessional and I will not book back in with these guys.

Worst accountants i have ever been top; total idiots - they dont care at all.

Be smart; hire a real CPA - H&R block are entry level; if you earn a very high income - this is not where you go.total fools - have no idea what there doing

Sharon Hall was amazing! Professional, concise and accurate. Answered all of my questions confidently and put me at ease while fixing an ongoing issue I've had spanning years. Awesome! Cannot recommend more.
