Great, friendly staff who are up to date on current tax law, and will try and maximise refunds.
Good, on time service.

Have attempted to contact since 1st March, multiple emails, phone calls (only answered by call centre) and attended site but no longer at Castle Tower. No response to calls or emails. Not possible to visit. Difficult to change accountants at 12 Days before end of financial year.

Deepa was absolutely amazing. Did a great job on my tax return and was just super helpful in general. Will definitely be coming back yearly!

Pretty disappointed by the service of H&R Block. I was given a cheque for my return which wasn't their fault, that I understand, however once I got it I called H&R to pay my tax fee. Called twice actually on 2 different days. First time nobody from the branch picked up so they said they would "return my call. " Never received a phone call. Second time I called a lady from the branch picked up and said that my fee was ALL PAID FOR IN THE CHEQUE. I even asked "Are you sure? " and she said yes.

A month or two go by and I receive multiple notice letters about my owing.

I called back multiple times, probably 8 times till now and have "escalated" this issue twice. Got a call back finally today after a few months of waiting and I just paid my Tax Fee of $195.

I don't understand why I owe this and I honestly feel robbed by it. I don't make much and had to take it out of my savings.

If there's a miscommunication between people that shouldn't be my fault. It's honestly not my problem. I shouldn't owe anything if your representatives say that it's all paid for. EVERY issue that is faced is ALWAYS the responsibility of the LEADER. So don't call employees "stupid. "

Regardless just a heads up to think twice before doing your tax return with H&R block.

I had an appointment with HR block Castle Hill with Purva Shah on the 14/7/18. It is now the 20/7/18 and I had called HR block Castle Towers 5 times throughout the day on 19/7/18 wanting information as to why my tax return had not yet been lodged as Purva had promised it would be lodged within 2 days, I needed this done as my mortgage refinance was dependent on this being done and lodged to clear my HECs debt, otherwise I would have done this myself and saved myself $135. I called several times yesterday, kept being told they could not find any details of my tax return and that they would "call me back within 10 minutes" I kept calling back every hour being told the same thing and no one has still called me back. I need to lodge my return ASAP as it is a simple return and I cannot do this as it is still sitting with your system. On the 14/7/18 I had also asked for them to contact me regarding my property I was changing into an investment property and my tax with this. I will be contacting the ombudsman today to get my $135 I paid for my tax return to be lodged with HR Block Castle Hill which has been now a week and still not processed and no one is giving me answers or even taking and returning my calls. I would not recommend HR Block to anyone and will not continue services with them now or in the future for my personal business and investment property.

I went to do my 2017-18 tax return a couple of weeks ago and book my appointment with the store manager thinking she would be competent. Instead of getting a final tax return, which I have always received, I was given a Tax Estimate which stated that I would owe around $400. Last Friday, I received my Notice of Assessment from the ATO, and the final amount that I owe is almost double the estimate. I made another appointment with the same tax agent for an explanation, and she said that she entered the wrong numbers when she originally did the tax return. She was apologetic, but after being charged nearly $200 for the service I am extremely disappointed. I won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend them.

Nice people but they don't ask enough questions to ensure you are claiming the most you can. Looking back I've missed out on so many standard deductions
