Great service and a reasonable rates.we had to engage Housecheck urgently to check the unit that we were going to sign the contract the next day, Neale managed to finish the inspection the same day.we highly recommend Housecheck NSW.

Undertook the property report for the house we purchased and missed an inordinate amount of things including pool compliance height of fence and rust in water tank so we have brown water.the list goes on.

I had no option presented other than to use the services of this company and their poor customer service and lack of communication lead to confusion! This company should spend some time communicating their processes with customers in follow up emails rather than charging credit cards with no correspondence prior! If I could give zero stars I would - thank goodness I don’t have to deal with them again!

If you are getting your building inspection done by them, you should be worrying. The missing chunk of concrete step is not pick up by the building inspector at all. And the reason they will be telling you is they only do visual inspection B***S***.
All the 5 stars reviews are given by Hill & Viteri are just fake review.
Go through the review, and you will find that the 1 star reviews are the real one.
These are bunch of crooks working together cheating hard-earned money from people like us.
I am a genuine victim, and you may refer to the damage picture which I attached below, which was not shown on the building inspection report at all.
If you are thinking of using their service, or buy any report from your agent, in particular Hill & Viteri, thinking twice. I do not want you to be the next victim.

TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Background
I had people over and each visitor advised me it smelled like gas. I had a plumber in almost a week after the inspection and he mentioned that there was a very very bad gas leak in the kitchen where the stove/oven is and said if the property was inspected this should've been something that was picked up. He showed me the problem and told me to take a photo and that he would write it in his report and I should contact the people who did the inspection.

The inspector who came to the property seemed fine however I wanted to follow up on a section of the report. I emailed HouseCheck with no response. I emailed again but decided to call. I spoke to 2 people from the office who were part of back office so were unable to help and I asked if I could speak with another inspector. They said the owner would call as he was the other inspector. When he phoned I asked him if he was able to explain the part of the report to me in the kitchen section as it said "Satisfactory" but then had notes next to it saying they weren't experts in some areas so some of it wasn't checked. I guess my assumption was it shouldn't have been a Satisfactory grade if there was a gas leak where the stove connected so I just wanted to understand the notes. He kept laughing at me, saying "I can't help you darlin" and he doesn't know what he wanted me to do. I said again I just wanted to understand that part of the report and he didn't have to be rude. He went back and forth being rude and making fun of me. He had me in tears and still continued to laugh. He said "you tell me whats wrong with it". I said I'm not a plumber but what the plumber advised there was a gas leak and I had a few people over on the weekend and candles were lit and the gas stove was used and I'm lucky it didn't blow up. (Unfortunately I have lost my sense of smell so I couldn't tell myself.) Anyway I just said I was just concerned if this was something that should've been picked up as the leak was quite bad and dangerous. He kept taunting me and was just really unprofessional and rude. He said that I couldn't even tell him what was wrong and he has been doing this for 30 years. I told him he was being so unprofessional for laughing at me and then he said okay and hung up. I just had one question about report and ended being told off by the owner. Appalling!

Overall
I am so shocked. I have never been spoken to like that in my life. All I wanted was more clarity on the report as they advised that the report would explain more but if I had any questions to call. The owner started attacking me almost immediately. He was unkind, unprofessional and didn't explain anything or care at all. Absolutely terrible service and I do not recommend them to anyone. I just wanted someone to explain something in the report and somehow was abused and laughed at by the owner.

If I could leave zero stars I would, in my opinion I would not recommend this service at all, very rude very deceiving.

I have bought so many properties and been dealing with so many building inspector. This is the worst building inspector I have ever dealt with. Rude, unprofessional and lots of damages were not stated in the report. They will not honor their mistakes, and they will tell you that it's just a visual inspection. A 7 year old kid can also do that job - a visual inspection. I will never go back to them ever again. I will urge anyone who is considering their service, just go some where else

Just had our pool certified through HouseCheck. Very professional and reliable service. Highly recommended!

$199 advertised special thought good price. Inspection complete in 10mins very pleasant inspector showed me two very minor things of which took 10 mins to make it compliant I was told when these are done contact the office and he will check it again. AT NO TIME WAS THERE A MENTION OF AN ADDITIONAL COSTS!
I called the office to arrange for the check that this was done and she said that will be $169. These costs should have been disclosed at the initial booking as I did ask so $199 is it and nothing else? She said that’s correct no mention of if they have to recheck anything that there would be further costs.

Neale and his team have been great to deal with. We're understanding that pool inspections can vary from 10 minutes to an hour, in all instances Neale has been outstanding, most importantly making properties safe with the right advice for pools and spas. Highly recommended.

House Check NSW was prompt booking in a date and had great communication and accomodating the time. I was sent a text confirming ETA on the day. Neale was great, very knowledgeable and helpful and the inspection was done in a timely manner. Highly recommended

We had our swimming pool certified by HouseCheck and the process wouldn't be easier. From Emma in the office to Neale coming out to our house, the process was seamless.

Terrible experience. As an estate agent I used their service approximately ten times before giving up, they were late to every appointment they showed up to, they didn’t show up to over half of them usually without even letting us know. They cancelled or rescheduled at the last minute. If we did manage to get them to the appointment the report received was then incorrect and not even for the right property saying things such as ‘wooden window frames need replacing’ when the property had aluminium windows throughout.
Terrible terrible service from start to finish!
Will never ever use again and nor will my clients.
