5Great services for refugees. Need more staff, support and Govt funding to assist more people in need. Some processes need improvement and training of volunteers/staff needed.
Very helpful organization to help refugees who are in need of food and dental, financial assistance to eligible members on humanitarian or protection visas, opal card application and referrals. During covid lock down my country was at war and after lock down they stopped and I couldn't continue staying with them anymore. It was a sad goodbye but I totally recommend this place as it definitely helps those in need. Must provide bank statements and evidence of financial hardship to qualify. I had a wonderful time with them and they have helped me out when I was starving and homeless running away from domestic violence while my country was at war. I give thanks to all members of house of welcome for all the support u have given to those in need and struggling. I will be serving the community to give back and help those in need as well.
It's nice organization for helping asylum seekers and refugees.
