Update: Returned today and my hubby still loved the porterhouse steak with mash. I got chicken schnitzel that was generous sized. Thanks guys!

Cozy atmosphere. Good for spending time with family and friends. Food at fair prices and good beers.

The pub is located within the main street of Mosman and is a great place to catch up with friends for a quick drink and feed.
There is a good range of drinks to choose from.
The atmosphere within the pub is good.
The portions for the food ordered was good. The food tasted good.

Great outdoor section, attentive manager, friendly staff, good food offering at reasonable prices

Walked in grabbed a Vb schooner straight to the pokies with $5 3rd hit won the major staff great complimentary hot food great

Decided to go there because of the vegetarian options and was not disappointed. Generous servings and nice staff.

Service at the counter sometimes are very unfriendly but the food is good. I used to go more often but not any more.

Ruby the rescue dog and I met some friends at the
HM on Sunday night. We were on the terrace and the weather changed very quickly but the staff were on the job and very attentive to ensure we did not get wet. Then they moved us to a table were Ruby could be more comfortable. The food was great too. My only comment about room for improvement (that applies to a lot of eating places) is that there is more than 1 vegetarian option.

Will go again.

This Kiwi family of four really enjoyed our pre-Christmas lunch after a wander around the suburb. The food was the best that we have eaten around Sydney's cafés and brasseries, and very reasonably priced. The service was also very good from the friendly bar staff, and from the young lady from France who attended our table. I also liked the understated decor, and the quiet and friendly patrons. We'll be back!

The Duck has definitely lost its soul from 20 years ago (particularly in the soulless downstairs area) but the most disappointing aspect is the inexperienced staff and the arrogant management.

The look of befuddlement when I ordered an old fashioned by the guy behind the bar was kinda funny. I thought the manager was coming to assist but, addressing only the server and not the customer (I was standing 3 feet away), he said "we only serve cocktails on the drinks menu. "

You work in a bar, pal, and have just declined to make maybe the oldest cocktail known to man. The clue's in the title. JFC.

I ended up ordering a bourbon with a couple splashes of bitter, a dash of sugar syrup served over ice with a garnish of orange. It was made without question. JFC!

It's a good place for parties and gatherings. Didn't enjoy it so I left as soon as I walked in. Couldn't feel a good vibe to stay.

Great place to hang out and even watch some sports. Staff were friendly. Got myself a chicken parmigiana, a bit dry but as pub food goes its good in price.

Service was excellent. It was very busy for a Wednesday night but food really good and cheap so no wonder. Good beer selection. My steak was slightly overdone but acceptable and tasty

Caught up with some friends on a Sunday evening for dinner. Food was excellent. The chicken schnitzel for $15 was fantastic. The menu has some great options and is quite big. Staff are very good - super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Thumbs down to "the duck". Unfriendly bar service and poor food quality is only slightly redeemed by somewhat functional decor. Won't be returning.

An old haunt for me, been going here for years, since a teenager pretty much. A staple where I take my Mum for lunch on occasions or really whenever we catch up and want something to eat.

Food hasn't missed a beat, and the wait staff are always kind and willing to help.

Having a family now it's fantastic that they have that family area with booths and ingenious little high chairs which clip onto the tables.

If you want something a little fancier, you can head upstairs, essentially the same food but it's a more intimate experience, leave your kids downstairs

Nice pub with good food and beer. The meat pie was excellent as was the sausage, mashed potatoes and peas.

Great value great food! They served the food in 5-10 minutes for a group of 35 of us. They also served coffee in elegant cups

Great value for money meals are large the kids meals are great value as well I had the beef burger was amazing and the pork cutlet was Devine. Stick date pudding was good recommend for all. Staff friendly and good service.

Had a meal upstairs in the restaurant with friends. You order your food and drinks at the bar, no dividing up the bill which is great.
Food and service were excellent. This was our first time and will definitely go again.
Note we found it a bit noisy inside.
