It is a romantic and old-fashioned place with great food and a great place to chat with people close to you.

Couldn't believe when I went to get drinks for my husband and I on Boxing Day evening, the barmen would only allow me to buy one drink! (I'd had one drink so being drunk wasn't the reason!) He went on about some rule they'd made up! Really!?
I've been coming to this pub for 20 years and this has never happened. Tbh I find the bar service here slow at the best of times but this not letting me purchase a drink for someone else goes beyond ridiculous. So.they were saying anyone that wanted a drink had to queue up themselves! What a joke! You are treating us like children!
Never in my life have I come across this, it's just ludicrous, and what made it worse was my meal that took ages to come out was sitting there getting cold through all this.
What's wrong with you Bruns Pub! I'd like a reply from someone in management on this one. Not happy at all with my local pub

Here for dinner only. Positives are location and live music. 'Fraid my fish and chips were normal rather than excepcional. Pay and self collection fron the counter.

Amazing atmosphere, spacious lots of tables, staff are full of energy smiles, quality service. The food is delicious good place to take your family, friends. Love the place coming back again soonish

The menu is really quite random now. Very Asian inspired, they even have a sushi bar. Used to love coming here and had great menu selections with plenty to choose from. The menu just seems to be confused about what type of food they offer and very limited.we went the other day and they'd sold out of most things. Such a shame, as we love the pub!

Very friendly service. Yummy food. I had beefcheeks and mash.very nice, super fair priced and generous servings. Also got to try myself a yummy watermelon pilsner

The food is absolutely AMAZING! We strongly recommend this place. Super friendly staff, spotless environment. The tap beer and wine selection was huge, my husband was in heaven. Great view too.

Love the old art Deco building, service is OK as is the food. The battered fish was a little dry but my burger was fine.

Very busy on weekends people everywhere not like the old days where basically every one knew each other now it's a machine to sell alcohol and food although covid did stop all food services here so maybe it's back now.jam packed on a Sunday never to this day has the brunz hotel had good reviews on food or service.usually a band on a Sunday lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas a park across the road parking is tough with limited spaces very popular amongst tourists and day trippers

90 minute await for Korean bao buns, served on stale buns. Absolutely digusting cuts of meat used. Atrocious experience. Will never eat here again.

Has to be one of the best beer gardens in new south wales, Very east to loose an afternoon here! The food is okay but come for the beer garden and location

Super friendly staff, a great 'house beer', fab food and as a bonus, a playground for the kids so parents can relax, with full visibility.

Great food and nice range of drinks. Perfect for a sunny Sunday afternoon. Probably Perfect if pouring down.

Top end of pub prices for me.

Had a couple of drinks and some food at the pub. The menu was amazing with lots to choose from.
Cocktails were a great hit with the group we were with.good atmosphere and not expensive

Great outdoor area when the sun is shining. Unfortunately it poured raining for our 2 days in Brunswick Heads! Reasonable bistro options but not a lot of other options here.

What a great pub. Top location. Great wines and beers! Service was excellent. Will be back for more of their hospitality!
