The service was excellent. My HWS broke down overnight, and was 13 years old, so time for a new one. I called at 8am, and had a new system installed by 11am on the same day. They were professional, and explained the options and benefits well. I thoroughly recommend them.

Brilliant service and really fast! Our large system - servicing 12 apartments - died after 19 years, and they got a temp unit in the next day which tided us over while they built a tailor - made unit to replace, and installed in about 10 days. Very impressed.

Recently my 80 litre H/W tank needed to be replaced. I shopped around and chose Hot Water Sydney (HWS) to supply and install a new tank.
Why HWS? For two reasons:
  (1) The gentleman who  installed my previous tank  in 2008, Barnaby (or Barney?), was professional, prompt and knowledgeable, and
(2) When I had a problem five years later, HWS was swift to attend to repairs
This time I called first with questions and found the staff – Trish and Rod – to be knowledgeable and pleasing.
We agreed on a replacement, considering the space restrictions in my laundry.   I was told tradesmen could come out the same day. Rod said  the boys will bring two tanks, for me to choose the one I prefer. Barnaby came with one or two apprentices, removed the old tank & quickly and efficiently installed a new Aquamax.

It was suggested that I may want a Mildred Valve installed as an extra safety measure. I agreed to that installation and then Barnaby left. Just before  the apprentices departed, I asked them to show me how the Mildred works and, in my opinion, it did not shut down the H/W tank promptly.

Late that night I emailed Barnaby mentioning that the Mildred was faulty. The next morning I received a call from Barnaby who said he has sent a plumber (whose name I forgot) to replace the Mildred. The plumber arrived at 08: 30 and in 15 minutes replaced the faulty Mildred. A test proved the replacement functioned as it should. Great job!

HWS provided a H/W tank at reasonable price with attentive service. When I had a concern, they quickly did right by the customer, causing zero inconvenience.

Bottom Line: I live  in a large block of apartments and will happily recommend HWS to my neighbours and Owners Corporation.

The installation team from Hot Water Sydney were neat, well organised and able.   After the removal of the former hot water system, and upon hearing of our plans for the newly created space, they demonstrated their experience and resourcefulness by suggesting an adjustment we had not considered altering.   They were right and saved us money.   Hot Water Sydney 's crew is very experienced and I highly recommend them. When our hot water died, these service-persons were prompt and efficient to get it working again (a failed thermostat in the end). They were thoroughly professional, but also extremely personable. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone requiring hot water services.
