Hornsby Fountain Medical Centre

Was a bit annoyed to only learn when I arrived that my first appointment would have a fee, however Dr Ghoochani was excellent and the nurse who did my injection is also great.

Worst GP in sydney. I have red eye problem, they charged 95$ and the doctor even didnt check my eyes and only asked me to go to the hospital.

Dr Amili Rahman is very professional and easy to talk to. Great service with the Reception too.

I’ve only had great experiencing at this Doctors clinic. Super easy to book online and there’s almost always a doctor available to see.

I will note the last two times I’ve seen a doctor I’ve had to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. Dropping my 5 star review to 4 because of this.

We became patients at the Fountain Medical Centre in May 2023 following recommendation from friends. Since then we've have been very impressed by their caring and efficiency. One of us has several conditions that require monitoring and Dr Sohael Rahman has been exceptional in the care he provides. The reception and nursing staff are also very helpful and efficient.

I had an emergency. Something wedged into my ear. My regular GP only works at the weekend. I was allotted another GP, Dr Simin Sadeghi Ghoochani, and waited a few minutes until she was ready. She examined my ear and after a little while, extracted the object. It was practically painless. Great job. Incredible relief.

I have never seen this center nor do I live anywhere nearby. Regardless of that I keep receiving emails about my visits to that place. They have requested me to review them as well. This review is not even about the facility as I have no clue anything about it, but I can imagine how patient confidentiality in this institution is not their primary goal. I hope I will not start receiving bills as well and they will update their patient's correct info and leave me out.

Perfectly located in the heart of Hornsby Mall Shopping precinct. Excellent medical centre that is well staffed and offering a range of medical services and practitioners. Also has an on site Nurse and Blood Collection service.

When I was waiting for the doctor the from I left my sunnies and someone picked it and there is camera right on top. I went straight back after 5 mins and asked if someone had dropped my sunnies the reception lady said NO and I asked if I could ask the security to check the camera she rudely said no I’m just a receptionist. And after asking 5 times she finally decided to take my number and give a call if someone drops it off.
The next day I called the medical centre again and another lady said yes they found it and matches the exact description so I went I pick it up but apparently they haven’t got it and maybe someone was mistaken. Again later the next day I called again to see if they found any sunnies Alison said the practise manager is coming and she will call me to check about the sunnies, didn’t hear anything. Another day I called again and OMG Alison was so rude which she always is and all the other in this reception. She hasn’t got any authority regarding my sunnies and she doesn’t know anything because she told me she hasn’t lost anything ever that’s why she doesn’t know she said. All I want it to check with the security because someone stole my sunnies as a person I have right to know who took it.
This place is just so rude all the receptionist specially. I am still waiting I don’t k it what happened with my sunnies but I don’t even know how to get yo the manager there, is there even a manager there? Looks like all the receptionist are their own bosses.

Doctors very friendly and helpful listen to issues in detail. Receptionists always friendly as well, nurse who give the vaccines are amazing very good with kids as well.
We have been going to this practice for years and never had an issue.

Dr. Darvas is our number one GP to go to when we have very serious concerns for our child. We highly value his expertise dealing with kids that even though we don't live in Hornsby anymore we still travel to that suburb just to seek his medical advice for our daughter. As a woman and a RN, I like the service of Dr. Arundathy Mayooran and Dr. Amili Rahman. My husband prefers to see Dr. Frank Trewartha and Dr. Peter Ulrick as they are pretty good doctors too.

Very very rude. Felt like I was getting told off, and I don’t know why. Not helpful nor solution focused. Don’t go there! Ever

Hornsby Fountain Medical Center has been a really great and friendly place for our medical needs. I would strongly recommend their business to anyone living in the area. Even though we have moved away from Hornsby, we still go back there from time to time because the doctors are already familiar with us.

I have been here a few times and the doctors are generally quite good. However, there seems to be quite a high turnover of doctors. At least you never have to wait very long.

The staff are courteous, friendly, and my doctors listen and are considerate of my needs, thats makes my day

Dr. Renu, was very nice and accommodating. She smiles when chatting on you. I feel that she listens to my concerns. The clinic was clean and okay. You just need a friendly and approachable doctor.
Dr. Darvas and Dr. Rahman are my kids doctors, they were very nice and friendly to kids too.

Update: I just booked in my younger daughter to see her GP once again, I recieved a call half an hour later telling me that because of my bad review below, they refuse to see my children. DISCRIMINATION, reported, see you in court.

I never thought imagined that we would witness such disgusting discrimination in Australia but here you go; my severely ill wife, her non English speaking mother along with our four year old daughter, took my sick 11 year old daughter to see her GP at fountain medical centre which we have been attending the children’s entire lives.

They were turned away from the medical centre because my daughter was sick and had not done a COVID test.

So your organisation of supposed doctors are turning sick patients away to “prevent other patients from becoming sick”. What kind of sick logic are you following? Absolutely disgraceful, and openly discriminatory. I would like to see how you would go asking patients if they have done a HIV test, bet you can’t legally do that right? Because that’s politically inconvenient.

I am extremely disappointed that the best children’s doctor I have been exposed to, Dr Darvas, is a part of this horrible organisation. I will be transferring all our gp needs elsewhere. - Milan Schulz
