We had Nicole and Courtney showing us the wines and beer tastings. Very fun, had great personalities and genuinely asked how we were enjoying our time and tasting. Would definitely go back! Thanks girls for an enjoyable afternoon!

Just attended an event at Hope Estate. I was extremely disappointed in the venue. Great day. Great Music!

It’s a shame the Hope Estate couldn’t supply amenities for the attendees. We would have been able to drink and eat more.

We visit Hope Estate each time we're in the Hunter. Love the wine, the vibe and the view! Last visit, we met Courtney. She was an absolute blast. Friendly, knowledgeable and funny. Still one of our favourite wineries to visit when we get a weekend away from the kids. Highly recommend

Lana's service was excellent as she ensured we got everything we paid for. Would highly recommend.

Stopped by to have a premium wine tasting which was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get Courtney to guide us through our choices. She is a true asset to Hope and was sharing her interest in learning all aspects of the offerings at Hope.
As for the wines we loved the Cracker, no surprises there, also the rose was a new one for us to enjoy this year.
We always stop at Hope whenever we are in the Hunter. The grounds are beautiful and filled with very comfortable looking Kangaroos.

Signed up for a club membership years ago for annual discount on beers. Membership lapsed with no communication and years later get charged for an 'allocated' carton as part of my membership. Refused a refund and had to get fair trading NSW involved as they broke the terms of their own contract. Was supplied evidence of other people experiencing the same thing. Company only cares about money, 0 customer service.

Great service here. Bartender hooked us up with a paddle of her favourites. Great recommendations.

Unfortunately the day our group visited, there was a horrible smell no matter where we sat down, the very very unique beer mixes and flavours were very extensive, although majority of them were an extremely desired taste. Maybe a little over the top to create something new, ill give a 3 star because I guess that's the process of experimenting and tasting.

Went to see The Killers last night and the band was awesome and we had a great time. Downside to the night was getting out of the car park and almost non existent traffic control on egress. When it takes two hours to get out of a car park, the venue needs to seriously look at managing the traffic and make significant changes to your traffic management plan.
We go to local venues so we don’t have to drive home from Sydney but last night proved it would have taken the same time to get home if we went to the Sydney show.

My husband and I popped in during our recent trip to the Hunter and it was fabulous! We were greeted by the WONDERFUL Denise who had such amazing knowledge of all of the wines on the menu, Even suggesting one of the wines we purchased and went home with! Denise always picked the right moment to come over during the tasting and was warm and lovely. We can’t wait to come back!

I really liked the informal paddles and glasses of wine tasting. Loved the outdoor area, great for relaxing taking in the views with a cool breeze.

Disappointing wine tasting and not recommended. Firstly, the wines are average. There was no ‘experience’ with this wine tasting. Paid $20 each for 6 wines and were given a tray of wines with a piece of paper about the wines. No host talking through the wines. We flagged a guy down to ask a question and he didn’t know anything about wine, seriously! We were the only people there and there was only 4 of us.

This venue has such great artists, but the management of vehicles and the venues products is absolutely disgraceful. I organised a mini bus to take me to the event that I have been to many times only for our bus to be denied access to the bus drop off area. I’ve seen so many concerts there over many years and this is first time we got told to go around the front area where all the cars were. We catch a mini bus as the larger services don’t operate in our area and we have never had a problem till the killers concert.
Such a lack of traffic control and no one knowing where our bus had to go ruined the evening. The poor driver was stressed out. We got stuck in traffic for close to 1 hour to get out. What a disgrace. Won’t be comming to this venue ever again

I’d advise against the “VIP” package. $349 for a 3.5 hr package with only their liquor (sub standard) The food was very average and hardly any on offer. Our table was offered a single oyster, sushi (one tiny piece per person, cold prawns (two) on a skewer, chicken on a stick & a rice paper roll… Much better to support the food trucks which offered decent, hot, substantial choices. On a positive note the staff were lovely and many commenting that this was the usual practise whilst rolling their eyes and apologising.

Saw The Killers at Hope Estate December 2022. The concert itself was fantastic - The Killers put on a fabulous performance and the sound and show production quality were excellent - but Hope Estate as a venue has some room for improvement.

We drove to the venue, and while there was plenty of parking onsite with marshals directing traffic as it arrived, leaving the venue was an absolutely nightmare. We were expecting that it would take a while to get out and had accepted this, but it took us an hour and 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot (paddock), and an hour of that we sat still and didn’t move at all. It was a complete shambles - primarily because they did not have any traffic control marshals helping to manage the situation and the flow of traffic, meaning everyone just got stuck in a gridlock. Hope Estate should consider investing in post-event traffic control to improve customer experience.

The venue also has an overly strict no-chair policy. While this is understandable for high lawn chairs, they weren’t even allowing those ground-level compact fold up chairs - people were being made to dump their chairs at security or return them to their cars. Since those chairs create no difference in height to sitting on a picnic blanket, this makes no difference from a customer view/experience perspective, so it seems a bit ridiculous. The reason we heard from other people is that the metal inside the chairs is a security risk and can be used as weapon. Likewise, they were not allowing any metal water bottles in, only soft plastic ones. Again, the reason given for this was security-related.

These rules and their logic would make more sense if the venue didn’t contradict itself by selling cans of beer and soft drink and bottles of wine - all of which can be used just as easily as a weapon, if not more so - rather than serving all drinks in plastic cups. I would like to see Hope Estate ease up on ground-based chairs and water bottles, or be more consistent in their logic for applying rules.

Such a terrible event organiser, they have no preparation at all for the parking arrangement at the after the concert stage, we spent more than 1hr just wait for finding a way out of the chaos, won’t back for any visit again.

Recently attended Hope Estate to see The Killers. We had a fantastic night and were only a few metres from the stage.
However the parking situation at the end of the night was an absolute mess. From the time we got into the car (went straight there after the last song) it took a full 60 minutes to move 2 metres. There didn’t seem to be ANY traffic control, and any traffic management plan was obviously thrown out the window once the concert was over.
Next time we won’t bother with gigs in the Valley, could have gone to the Sydney show and gotten home at the same time.
This was also NOT a disability friendly event. Where people still have to walk ten minutes across grass (not good for those who use mobility aides), you cannot call your event accessible.

The Killers put on a great show last night however the night was soured by the debacle with traffic management (or lack of) afterwards.
Can’t imagine ever attending another event at Hope Estate.

We did the wine tasting, was very pricey ($20pp for 6 wines) but the service from the staff conducting the tasting was really good. Alice was really enthusiastic, friendly and genuine. We sat outside and liked that she gave us time between each tasting to sit and enjoy it. Nice venue, loved the Margherita Pizza, came out quick. The wines were expensive and nothing was really a stand out for the price, so we didn’t end up buying any bottles. 3.5/5
