Honeysuckle Garden Turramurra reviews
27Friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of indoor plants, pots, shade plants, cacti etc. Our dog Frankie loves visiting, especially if he gets pats from Dawn.
Good nursery also known as Parker's, range good quality, good prices, disappointing they no longer have a Cafe, parking ok
4.7 - I was so surprised when I popped in here today to find that this Plant Nursery / Garden Centre was as big as it was! There was a huge amount of different indoor plants and pots, as well as a seperate Homewares and Decor room, and a few different Outdoor Areas for Plants! Mix of whether it was priced well - some items were cheaper and others were more expensive. Sits in the moderate range. You'll just have to do your own comparisons. There are huge discounts on the larger more mature plants down where we park. But I think, for me, it's the amount of different / unique pots in the range!
Very disappointing these days. Its previous owners (Parker's) were always helpful & knowledgeable. However the current staff don't seem to have any real horticultural knowledge, or if they do, they don't care. Last time I was there (about 3 weeks ago), all staff were having a meeting/get-together/pow-pow up in the back corner. They all seemed to be having a great old time! No-one, I repeat, NO-ONE, came to attend to a customer for over 10 minutes. I left, and went to Bunnings (of all places!) instead. I suggest somewhere (anywhere!) else. One star is being kind!
It's a medium sized plant shop, it has a good selection of large plants and a smaller range of edible plants. They have varieties of medium sized plants I haven't seen in other shops nearby. They also have an indoor area and sell vases, wind chimes, pots, garden trinkets and tools.
Lady behind the desk was very friendly and went out of her way to help me get the right plant and offer relevant care advice to answer all of my questions, and offered a discount for me on a limited budget. Great customer service!
We've just moved to a new town house and needed to buy some plants to plant hedges around our backyard. When we got there my partner (who is a tradie and horticulturist) needed to use a toilet first, asked a staff member if he could use the toilet, and the staff member told my partner that we have to buy something to use the toilet!
When they welcomed us like this, we didn't even bother to look at the plants to buy and we just left!
Very very disappointed with their customer service and never will come back to this store ever again!
I have just had the most delightfully rewarding experience with manager Dawn. My situation was challenging as I wanted to gift a special "memorial" plants to my Sydney-based friend who has just tragically lost her Dad. Dawn took time to help me choose a plant (remotely as I am in New Zealand) and then went beyond the norm in not only wrapping the gift beautifully but coming back to me later and offering to attach a card. A truly heart-warming experience. Highly recommended. Five stars Plus for service. Thank you Dawn!
Great variety of plants. The lemon trees I purchased were very very healthy. Staff were a little busy and they didn’t say anything when they saw an older lady clearly cut in front of the line.
There's is a huge variety of outdoor garden plants of all sizes and maturity. Most plants looked fresh and well cared for. There's is separate section of indoor plants with reasonable verity. Also, there's separate section of plant care products. There's a good veriety of plant pots. The parking is reasonable sized. You might have to park off-street on busy days.
A lovely nursery with a great range of plants, pots and garden gear including arches. Friendly staff and easy parking.
Really love the plants here. Very well look after and beautiful. Staff as awesome as the plants.
Customer service was a 5 star +, Dawn went above and beyond what a Customer should expect let alone her boss. Thank you for all your help.
I took my Felco secateurs in for service and sharpening. Initially a problem as they are very old and new parts had to be found. I was impressed that the staff went to endless trouble to do the job efficiently and professionally.
Best place to go if you need yours sharpened!
High-end yet very well priced nursery with excellent choice of plants and exquisitely merchandised gift shop. We love shopping here primarily due to the incredible and knowledgeable staff, whose advice today just so happened to be life-saving. Thank you with all my heart Dawn and Rosa, P&s.
Great variety plants, trees and pots but unfriendly staff at cashier. You will definitely find something at Honeysuckle Gardens once you are there.
Went to this nursery expecting to be able to get some plants and enjoy a coffee at the cafe. Despite advertising that there was a cafe - it no longer exists. Plants were over-priced. Staff were offhand. Will not be returning
I would like to say how lovely a young man young Tom is. He was not only very polite and attentive when helping me out with a plant I was interested in buying, but had a lovely way about him. In fact, all the staff were very helpful. You have some lovely plants, pots and accessories too. I will return!
Absolute rip off, average customer service. If you want reasonable pricing do not go here.range is pretty small too
So beautiful and so VERY reasonably priced! Great coffee, helpful staff and gorgeous ambience. Definitely will be back. Thanks everyone.
