Home Timber & Hardware Minto Home Hardware reviews
17What sort of hardware store is closed on Sundays? Seriously Bunnings was packed when I got there.
Customer service is really hit and miss. It's definitely time for the old grump down the back to retire though.
Most people love going to a hardware store because the possibilities that suddenly appear while looking for a simple 35mm, M6, panhead bolt are endless. The reality, for most of us though, is that we’re lucky to drive a nail into wood without it bending.
The great thing about this store though is that the staff actually know what they’re talking about and don’t look down their nose at you because you don’t. All of the staff are friendly and will help you get what you need and tell you what you need to use it.
Great range of hardware and landscaping (although metal is a bit lacking) and always friendly.
Customer service is excellent. Ask questions and the experts will answer confidently to the best of their abilities. I guess experience of the people working in this store makes a difference. My DIY experience was good.
Fantastic customer service. All staff were super helpful in all ways. Great store, was able to get all we needed. Definitely recommend to anyone to go to
Worth the visit great customer service and help is there when needed. No stress at all. Recommend this place to anyone
Happy from friendly customer service and at least they give you sand in small quantities if you require unlike McArthur Sand soil who did not give that service
Only place in Sydney that delivers and provides for all of your requirements. Louie’s Customer service is above and beyond excellent and all drivers are helpful. Highly recommend for all your building supply needs!
Amazing service. I went down this afternoon around 5: 10, they close at 5pm. I saw a lady by the name of Deepika standing outside, told her what I needed and returned, opened the door and rushed to the shelves and got me the items.
Deepika could have said we’re closed and to come back tomorrow but didn’t and showed amazing customer service.
Thank you, will definitely be back again.
Customer service skills are always on point, everyone inside does their job to help out and the drivers are always helpful and do the job to the letter.
I was at Minto Home Hardware the other day to buy some paint and was completely blown away at how friendly and helpful the staff was. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warmest, and friendliest smile. Something as small as that put me into a joyful mood and set the tone for the whole experience. Not only did they take the time to explain to me the difference between the products, they made sure to listen to exactly what I wanted and only recommended good quality products they would personally use. Talk about good old fashioned customer service!
My husband sent me on an impossible mission to purchase some materials I was not familiar with. The staff were polite and helpful and took the time to make sure my needs were satisfied.
Minto hardware is my local hardware store. Bought some top soil for the lawn. Always good to deal with. Will definitely recommend.
Went to this place to buy grass roll for the second time, but the person was working as a customer service assistant was very rude and totally insulted me and didn't want to sell their product, I am still wondering what kind of costumer service is that. Never ever going to that place. Very very recist place.
Unlike Bunnings. These guys actually want and can help you out. They know what you're talking about.
I arrived at 6: 30am when trucks were coming and going and realised that the door displayed an opening time of 7am. I had left my long gaiters (protection for legs when using a whipper snipper) at home and expressed my problem and desire for a new pair to the manager standing at the door. He arranged for a staff member to find me a new pair in the store while it was closed and all the lights were off. He brought them to me, still gave me trade discount, and was happy to take my eftpos card for $3.95 without any whinging. Most retailers would either refuse it, have a huff, or ask for additional purchases. The whole experience made me so happy and got me out of such a pickle that I sat in the truck and typed this out. Something else this crowd is good at is ordering stuff in that they don't have on the shelf. Bunnings usually charges a fee for this and they often order the wrong item. This crowd does it for free and they get it right every time. I live in Castle Hill (50mins drive away) and they have often offered to place my special orders in the cabin of one of their timber or soil delivery trucks for delivery to my front door when they happen to be in my suburb. I know.it's all hard to believe but it's all true. Give them a go!
Excellent customer service, a guy on the floor asked if I needed help, I did and he was absolutely wonderful with all that I needed. Got to the checkout, I asked if they sold water (I was dehydrated and filthy from working in my backyard-they told me they don't sell water but the manager handed me a bottle! A happy customer!
