Holiday Inn Parramatta

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, and the location was great, right up to the coast. 5 minutes on foot I went out at 4 a.m. And fully enjoyed the charm of the Gold Coast from dawn to sunrise.

Stayed at this convenient and clean hotel for a week over the Christmas holidays. Friendly team, excellent guest services, gym, pool and delicious breakfast each day.

I recommend this hotel@. The staff are polite and friendly. Nothing is a problem.
Great place to stay, and close to the rail. Within walking distance.
The breakfast area needs putting into order. You are moving all over the place for your food. Nothing flowing.

Don't bother staying here rooms are claustrophobic air traps with no opening windows and you can get a better room for the same price at Meriton. Not to mention the smell when I turned the thermostat. If I had this place I would charge $100 a night because that's all it's worth

There is no bathtub cap, so you can only shower.
It's a pity that I couldn't wash after getting water.
No bottled water provided.

I could not recommend this place more. The accommodation was fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided in-room facilities worthy of a luxury hotel.

I slept so well as there was no external noise at all, which initially concerned me as I thought I had gone deaf, being so quiet!

The breakfast food selection in the restaurant was extensive and tasty. I would love to have tried their meals at other times.

Staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient.

I absolutely loved my experience here. The entire team from my initial enquiry through to check out were a divine. Extremely attentive to what I needed within a special event I had attended to just this past weekend and the amenities served it's purposes.

It's been a muggy spring, so to walk into the air conditioned rooms with lovely condiments was comforting. Thank you so much for being so helpful to all our needs and allowing us have a pleasant impressive first experience that surely wouldn't be my last.

The decor is a little older but it still fits its purpose and is so conveniently situated near everything and anything to Paramatta's CBD ️

Convenient hotel if you need to attend work or business in Parramatta area or nearby. Quite place but still in the heart of Parramatta CBD. Front and Restaurant staff are awesome. Hotel room is bit run down. Carpet and room furniture needs an immediate update. Quality of the dinner (Prawns Spaghetti) with the price of the food didn’t match up. Breakfast was great.

Management just informed me (11pm) that I cannot have a guest in my room.
As booking is in my name only.

I was stayed few weeks back when visiting Parramatta for work, liked it so much that I came back for another stay; this time for work and leisure! The staff are absolutely awesome, really; was welcomed by Ference. And great attention is paid to the cleanliness of the rooms/bathroom/sheets/furniture, and also the fridge, and cutlery. I have stayed at many hotels in Victoria and NSW over past few years and I can see the difference in service levels. Well done to staff and management. Highly recommend Holiday Inn.

Hotel needs to be updated, furniture and colour schemes are outdated. Lifts noisey. Friendly staff.

Great spot to stay out of Sydney, Train Station is only a quick walk around the corner. Room wasn't the greatest, Bed wad too small for a couple. Buffet breakfast was good. Would recommend and stay again.

Not a 4 star but yeah 3 star for sure. People are good but rooms are bad. Emergency stay is ok but not planned.

The spa isn’t working. The outdoor pool is not heated. Gym is too small. Boring. Our bathroom’s shower had low pressure. The hotel is not maintained well. But the customer service is great. Housekeeping is good. Rooms are clean and breakfast os good. So a mix of great and bad.

Very peaceful good location the two receptions are great people too very friendly I go back there again beds are comfortable too cheers

Great place to stay to check out the local area, reasonably priced, has a pool to cool down in, staff were good and the room was good with comfortable beds

The facility was wonderful. Clean rooms, wonderful location and good facilities.
The only thing the management can improve upon is to waive off the parking fee. It is kinda spoiler.

Not to bad. Arrived and had been put into normal room with a bath though was upgraded to spa room through genius level on booking.com so went down stairs to get this fixed. Spa room smells like stale smoke and damp, i am a non smoker so the faintest smell of smoking I can smell, though room service came and sprayed thankfully. In booking.com it sais indoor play area for children though was told no its not happening they don't have one. Also dinner which I need having a child as there's no cooking facilities nor microwave or even a toaster though no dinner in restaurant now I was told and breakfast is you go down and order. No room service for food which I was told there was. Little dissapointed. Clean, but carpet no its a little dirty. Only first night though. Was told to go to pub across the road for dinner though with a five year old ide have preferred it here but cant due to no dinner menu. Plus is bathrooms spotless, beds so comfortable and pillows lovely n plush all the little added extras make up for the carpet like coffee pod machine chargers for phone and all little extras.

Staffs are very helpful.
They make my day.

Arrived at 2 am to wait for him to take half an hour just to check us in when we had already prebooked and paid via booking.com.got my children with autism up to the room around 2.30am to find urine all over the toilet, used cups and spoons in the bathroom sink that my little guy tried to drink out of, and no sheets on the beds. I then had to take the kids downstairs to be told oh and give us another room. I was also charged twice for the room and had to wait 10 days to get the money reimbursed.after asking how to make an official.complaint they gave me free parking and said we can't undo it but we can say sorry.really not good enough during a pandemic
