Holiday Coffs Coast

Very much a retro 80s townhouse with original tiles, wood panelling etc. But if you're not needing brand new and sparkley this place is great. Immaculately clean and well appointed. The complex is as close to the beach as you can get, about 50 metres easy walk through the bush and dunes and you're on the sand. There is no aircon but with windows open and ceiling fans on it's comfortable. Be aware, though, that there is no wifi.

Sea Breeze provided us with the perfect spot for our family holiday. Ocean and mountain views and convenient location. Pool was loved by the little people and the house had a well stocked pantry and games cupboard for rainy days. We had an awesome holiday and will be back.
No blinds/curtains in the small single bedroom upstairs made the room unusable though - way too bright unfortunately.

Great location across from the beach. The property has off street parking. The house was very well appointed with little extras like bathroom products, washing powder, and even coffee pods to make our stay comfortable.
The house was extremely clean and well looked after.

Love the venue, pretty close to town, which was what I wanted.
Room had all the amenities and extras as advertised. The only issue I had was that there was no wifi connectivity and mobile data speeds were very slow as well. If the property managers could look at setting up wifi connectivity, I believe this would be a more comfortable stay.

We had the perfect time at Seabreeze. The place is modern, big, clean and facilities are exceptional. We will be back again and highly recommend.

Spectacular views, clean, comfortable, well-equipped accommodation! Emmanuele & Carla are superb hosts & Carla's cooking is not to be missed. Wonderful generosity coupled with relaxed friendliness make this a highly recommended place to spend some time.

The place is central to the beach and shops which is great. But we did walk into a space that wasn’t clean. The carpet floors were dirty with paw prints, the bed sheets and pillows had blood stains on them which is disgusting. Also the air con wasn’t working the 2nd day in our stay (mind you it was 30+ degree days). We weren’t happy with our stay

Extremely happy with our couple nights stay. Very clean, tidy and we were able to relax on the deck or by the pool with that amazing view. Emanuel and Carla went above and beyond with having wine, sparkling water and tiramasu on arrival. Thank you to you both for the beautiful hospitality, we will most definitely be back!

Our family had the most wonderful stay. The chalet has an amazing charm with country style comforts. My favourite was sitting having my morning cup of tea in the open plan fully screened lounge area whilst watching my girls play and feed the horses. The tranquility is bliss, yet easily reached to amenities and an array of beaches and scenic swimming spots. The owner Ann is a beautiful lady who was so approachable and friendly to my children and myself. Non of us wanted to leave. We will be back!

31/01/23 after managing to get to McGrath's General Manager we were able to obtain a satisfactory outcome to our complaint. Despite him reiterating the "no refund if you leave early" policy he conceded that our complaint was valid and arranged the partial refund that we sought. On that basis we change the star rating from the previous one to four. If you encounter similar problems anywhere it pays to be persistent!
On no account could I recommend this company to provide holiday accommodation. My wife and I booked a two day stay en route to Victoria in Nambucca Heads. The owner lived above the accommodation unit and was very welcoming. However at 5.45 the first morning were awoken the heavy footfalls in the owners unit above caused by her grandson immediately followed by a noisy (upright) vacuum cleaner being used and furniture being moved around. We were concerned for our safety being aware of the grandson's reason for being present should we complain and departed that morning telephoning McGrath within the hour to register our complaint and requesting a return call (which never came) from a responsible person. On our return we wrote to McGrath to register our complaint and demand a partial refund. A telephone call from Kyle was received on 10th January quoting parrot fashion that their terms are "no refunds if you leave your accommodation early". That the accommodation was unsuitable did not enter the equation. This total refusal to accept responsibility for having provided unsuitable accommodation reflects poorly on the providing agent McGrath holidayscoffs coast. We recommend that they be avoided.

The house is very well designed, appointed and maintained. The views are spectacular and overall it was a super nice place to stay. It was also spotlessly clean. Great access to the beach, and nice neighbours.

Outrageously overpriced dump, $3800 for 16 days of hell, smells like an ashtray from the moment you walk on site, tiny motel room with, cheap everything, sheets thin and threadbare towels the same and stunk, barely cleaned room, also stunk, permanent residents sit outside their rooms chain smoking, you can't even open a window as the smoke comes straight in, then there is a happy hour with the permanents and the rest of the neighbourhood every afternoon until 11pm or later or until a fight brakes put or they pass out, no one else could get near the pool, lbbq or facilities, apparently they are reserved for the bogan permanents, honestly, they could not pay me to stay there again.

Property (8Tuna St Valla Beach) was not as advertised. Advert said “whole home, pet friendly, garden access”. None of these were true. However beautiful views and location. One room has no drawers or cupboards at all. We were a party of 8 and this unit is spacious enough, however was not a suitable place for a relaxing holiday or children or dogs. The promised garden for the dogs is only a stoned side courtyard. Beach access is perfect - the dog beach is two streets away. Kitchen missing a few basics like measuring cups, dustbin lid, sieve, decent knives and fancy looking coffee machine doesn’t work. There are downstairs tenants who have no respect for holiday guests with drug use, 3 parties in 2 weeks, shouting and fighting, constant thoroughfare of different people and a very anxious dog that barked every time we went onto the back deck. On Christmas the noise went on til 3am and began again at 6 am. We had instructions only to use one parking space however the tenant downstairs at times had 4 cars parked. Disappointingly one of the frequent cars was a McGrath car, so not sure about the setup with this unit. Disappointingly handled after we had complained. I would not use this unit or company again.

Everything has been thought of from beach towels to glad wrap.
We walked everywhere, lovely coffee, breakfast lunch and dinner at Anchors Wharf 3 min walk. We had a lovely Thursday afternoon sitting out on Anchors deck having a beer and cocktail as they now are a bar as well.

Access directions for "Seaside on Fourth" (located at 4/33 Fourth Avenue Sawtell NSW 2452) were very poor and took over 30 minutes to locate and access the unit at night. Very stale smell on entering the unit. The car garage is only suitable to very small cars with good clearance. I couldn't use it at all. Woodwork and paint is VERY much in need of repair. Stained carpet and frayed, stained lounge which I didn't even sit on. Small TV in bdr but the bracket was attached to wall so that HDMI could not be used to access Netflix which was not available on the TV itself. No AC in bedroom. No WIfi for 3 nights of 4 and I had been supposed to be on a working getway. I asked for the tech to come at noon and he arrived at 830am but couldn't fix until next day. Once it was fixed, there was no phone call to advise the password until I contacted the rental agency myself on my last day. Throws and pillows were ragged, old and stained. The BBQ, held a sign advising charges if not cleaned but the cover and stand were filthy! Bathroom was a modern vanity and shower installed into the laundry room on entrance to the unit. No en-suite in bdr. The bathmats on the rail were covered in twirls of grey fluff as from a vacuum cleaner. Bedroom power sockets would only allow to use either the lamps or my devices (laptop and phone) but not both all at once. A very disappointing stay for a much needed getaway. I don't usually write reviews but this unit was very overpriced and photos misleading. My 2nd airbnb attempt, both with similar experiences.

We had such a good time and it was such a pleasant stay. Sea Haven was incredible. I have also recommended it to my friends. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks again Jess for making sure everything we requested for was fulfilled.

Rockpool 3 was absolutely beautiful, super clean, very well presented and the whole booking, check in and out process was super convenient and easy. Will definitely book through McGrath Coffs Coast Holidays again!:)
