Hippybottomus Cloth Nappies

I really wanted to like them, but they absolutely do not work. They leak if I don't change my daughter every hour and even then I sometimes get leaks. I use two inserts at night and she still wakes up completely wet. We tried to strip clean them and put them on tighter but nothing works. The only positive thing I have to say is that the prints are cute.

Loving these nappies. The prints are all super cute and the lining fabric is very soft. They’ve been washing really well and are very absorbent. Highly recommend

These nappies may be cheaper than other brands but you’ll pay in the long run! They leak terribly (can’t even get 2hrs out of them) and are bulky. The inserts are wide which makes doubling them unviable as I then cannot achieve a good leg seal no matter what I do. The only way to achieve no leaks has been to use inserts from another brand. The quality of PUL is also poor. When compared to other brands it is very thin. My other nappies may have cost twice as much but they don’t leak, I’m not changing outfits 5+ times a day and they’re more trim fitting so clothes fit better. 1 star because their change mats are good value for money.

Our first time trying reusable nappies and I'm super impressed and happy with how it's going. Love that these nappies can fit 2 inserts for over night. We're using the liners also to make clean up easy! A bonus is the prints are super cute. Will need to purchase a few more. My bub is pretty chubby and we've had no problems with the fit

Love their products. Very good quality and love the colours. They are environmentally friendly and great for the Bub.

These have been by far our favourite cloth nappies. We have tried several brands and now reach for these ones. We have found them durable - now using the same ones for 2 years and about to continue on with our next bub. We bought extra liners and now always double line to avoid any leaking issues. Quality and durability these win hands down.

These are the only cloth nappies I will ever use. The designs are adorable and they are so versatile. If you have a child that goes a lot through the night you can just add more inserts. Everyone I have dealt with here has been a pleasure and very clearly has a passion for what they do. And if you're lucky enough to deal with Zoe you will realise how lovely they are

I used the wonderful Hippybottomus cloth nappies with my now 4.5yr old and I’m back again using them for my 2nd Bub. They are easy to use, wash, and look great in all their gorgeous patterns.
I just received a new top up order as I couldn’t resist some of the new patterns. I also love the wet bags and other products. I had an issue with my latest order and the lovely customer service helped me resolve the issue with ease.

My wife and I have been using hippybottomus cloth nappies for about two months now on our newborn. We started out with the ‘recommended stash’ of 20 nappies plus a few extras and have just ordered a ‘supplementary stash’ of 15 more, to give a little extra time to dry on the line. I would also recommend the reusable wipes, they’re heaps better than wash cloths I was using from BigW. They generally wash out well (we use ‘aware’ brand washing powder from woolies). Seem good quality, no issues after approx 30 uses. Occasionally we have a leak but no more than disposable nappies. They’re competitively priced, some other brands seem cheaper at first but don’t include inserts and if you buy bulk in stashes they have good discount codes. Zoe was very helpful.

Absolutely loving these nappies! I have tried 4 different brands and they are by far the best ones. Absorbency is great, but the best part is that they are very easy to wash (no need to wash them daily) and very fast to dry! Which means I don't need to use the dryer or wait days to have a fresh stash.
I also found they are a lot less bulky than some other brands and baby seems much more comfortable in them.

I have now bought my 2nd lot of Hippybottomus nappies and they are amazing. Other brand cloth nappies my daughter constantly would have leaks out the side. Your nappies are amazing even for night time. My 4 month old won't be wearing any other nappies from now on. Thank you so much and I absolutely love the prints.

Cute and easy to use and fine for day wear with hourly changes.
I do have an issue with leaking. I've tried all the tips from the FAQ and have purchased the hemp inserts as boosters for absorption but still having issues. Due to leaks I cannot use them during sleep time or out of the house. Have reached out to the company for advice but never heard anything back

I LOVE MY HIPPYBOTTOMUS NAPPIES!

I started when my baby was 3.7 kgs and I don’t regret it. I was going to wait till she was a little bigger but I couldn’t.

She has one of the worst possible baby rash I have ever seen - blisters, bleeding, pimples ect so I decided to give the nappies a shot and within 4 hours of using them the redness disappeared and within 24 hours the rash completely gone. I use the bamboo liners with as I use barrier cream still but it’s so easy to pick up all the nasty stuff with the liners and straight in the toilet it goes! So easy to clean and dry too!

(sorry for the lengthy review!) These are great quality, gorgeous designs and great value for money.
My daughter is 4 months, we've been using these since 2 weeks (approx 3.5kgs) and we LOVE them. We bought some disposables but didn't get through a whole pack after we switched because we use these exclusively. She got nappy rash with disposables when we went away for a week and within 24 hours of being back in these it was gone.
We use bamboo liners which trap solids (inserts AND liners - these are different). Put the liners straight in the bin and nappies basically don't get anything solid on them. Had some recent leakage because the inserts are soaked through so I have started putting in two inserts overnight which works.
Had an issue with smell when she got a bit older (more urine) but switched to a longer cycle as per faq on website which fixed that (check the instructions haha!).
We bought the "recommended nappy stash" plus another 4 nappies and extra inserts and liners. 26 nappies is the perfect number for us. We have enough to have 2 days of nappies drying and run out on the afternoon of the 3rd day when the first lot are dry (have to do a wash daily). 100% recommend - Buying another lot for my sis in law who is expecting twins!

Terrible Nappies. I read lots of reviews before purchasing and they seemed to be a good idea. I spent $400 on a stash I was very confident. I'm not sure if these are fake reviews, because the nappies are hopeless. They leak ALL the time. Unless you feel like changing your baby's clothes ten times a day and doing lots of washing, don't bother. I used only the recommended detergents, air dried, tried with liners and without, avoided all barrier creams, etc. I tried different combinations of clip settings. I persevered for over 8 months. Total waste of money and time. Oh, one star because they look cute.

Absolutely love the products. They are so easy to clean and maintain. So excited to continue using them with my little man:)

I absolutely love these nappies! I have quite a few other popular brands of nappies but feel these are the most comfortable on my son and they hold a lot too before needing a change. They are quick to put on and the elastic is nice and soft so don’t dig in like others that I have. The patterns are fun, and the inserts and shells dry quickly. I like that you can buy additional thicker inserts to boost for night time. I had initially been hesitant to start using them as they looked so wide, but I have been using them on my son since he was 7 weeks and can’t wait to buy more.
Also love the wet bags and patterns, especially the double sided ones. They are so useful to carry dry and used nappies in the one bag.

We love our Hippy’s. Absorbency is great and such an easy fit. Never have a problem getting one on even our wriggly 6 month old. Our boy is quite big and we have no size issues. They were one of our very first cloth nappies and they made the journey so much easier. Prints are beautiful too!

These nappies are hands down the best cloth nappies we have used (we have a stash of over 10 different brands and have been using cloth for over a year). The designs are adorable, the nappies are incredibly absorbent and fit my daughter perfectly. Even at 16 months, we only need to use one insert for daytime use, unlike other brands. I couldn’t recommend them more!
