Charged me $3800 for six hours work of three workers when I was quoted $4200 for two full days work for the three workers. I received the bill two months later with the same due date as invoice was sent. I emailed them the same day as invoice was received questioning them as I had been informed by the new owner halfway through the job that they had excessively over quoted the job and not to worry they would adjust the invoiced amount fairly which in my opinion they didn’t. Was even verbally quoted for scaffolding and cherry pickers to account for the $4200 quote which were never used yet no deductions for this was shown in the total invoice. I politely emailed them the same day I received the invoice questioning how they came to that amount on as had deducted only$400 from quote. I never received an email response but four days later I started receiving threatening and very aggressive voice mails outside of business hours to my business phone number from a person representing Hilowash, I was scared so I paid…. And yes this was after just a few days of receiving the invoice. I am worried about the repercussions of writing this review but it is all facts and I believe the local community should know the practices this company and their representatives engage in. The public and especially the vulnerable need to be made aware in my opinion. My company staff have been off on workcover claims because of these aggressive, hostile and threatening recorded voicemail messages. I had to get police to contact the Hilowash representative threatening me to cease these voicemail messages because of the impact it had on staff. I truly worry about how the impact of such business practices of hilowash will have on the vulnerable in our community hence why I feel I have to speak up.

We had the most wonderful service and results using Hilo Wash on our property. The boys who came out have made our old property look new. Nothing was to much trouble and the owner Paul was fabulous to deal with. I couldn’t rate them higher.

Amazing performance and great quality work! Worth every cent! Roof and driveway both look amazing!

The guys did a great job. They were nice and early and very pleasant young men. The quality of service was excellent and done in good time. Communication was timely and appropriate. Again thank you very much for the wonderful service.

My neighbour used this business to get his roof cleaned. I live next door. After they had finished the neighbours roof the men came in to do what they called clean up. A young chap was hosing my pavers. I went out and asked him about the garden as I wanted the clean up done properly. The young chap spoke to the older man about my request. I heard him say. Well they were told a week ago we were coming. He then repeated this to me. He the had the audacity to say all this should of been moved out. The issue was the clean up. When you own a business like this if you are not prepared to lay tarps or plastc to protect other peoples yards. Do your clean up properly. So, the elderly man got the hose and hosed down again. Some of my ornaments were knocked over. They didn't get a broom and sweep the rubbish out of my yard. They just hosed it again and flooded the place. The older man was rude and unprofessional. I have taken photos and I have posted them on Facebook for others to see how my yard was left. I am upset about this as I said to the older man I had spent alot of money to get my back garden to that stage not to have the neighbours muck from his roof everywhere.
