Absolutely love ordering our veggies from this customer-focused, locally-driven small business. Hillview Farms came highly recommended when I was looking to find quality, fresh, local produce and support local farmers. When the box arrives, it feels like Christmas! Produce is amazingly fresh and super tasty - the quality is far superior to anything I've ever bought at a supermarket. I didn't realise veggies could taste so flavourful until buying produce from Hillview Farms. We love being able to support a family-owned small business and have recommended many friends looking for quality fruit and veg to this operation. The team is also super helpful, devoted to customer care and focused on delivering higher on a solid business.

Owners are criminals, they use small suppliers and businesses and don’t pay us. After doing some more digging by contacting other suppliers we found the same thing it turns out they also do this to their staff. They have ripped so many people off. People should not support this business.

Have been a Hillview customer since soon after first lockdown, when I swapped from Harris Farm to H/V initially because of cost saving. I've stayed with H/V now for these past 2 years because they do a cracking job; their delivery arrives on the day they say it will and nothing has ever been too much trouble for them.
I've only had one delivery stuff up and it was a very simple mistake misreading a label. That was rectified within 30 minutes. The quality of the merchandise is excellent, so much so that I've found myself looking for reasons to use more vegetables in my cooking.

Just recently I decided I wanted to start buying organic - truthfully it just tastes better and feels better. I tried a few different set boxes from different places for comparison and Hillview excelled for us in every area. In the small set box we received a very large, varied, and colourful array of fresh fruit and vegetables. I honestly couldn't match the price even with bargain "special price" non-organic vegetables to what we received. They are brimming with colour and freshness and we can't wait to sample. The fruit that I have eaten so far is full of flavour and vitality.

Would br great if some storage tips and instructions could be included with some of the less common veges. Maybe as pages on the website.

Excellent fresh fruit and vegetables delivered to your door. The prices are reasonable and competitive. Quality is to a far higher standard than the supermarkets, with the added convenience of getting this fresh produce delivered to your door.

I have been using their service now for six months. The delivery is always on time. Throughout the process, Hillview will keep you informed about where your box is and where it is being delivered.

In addition to the fruit and vegetables, I have ordered several meat items from the butchery. The products are tremendous, especially the steak and the sausages.

My area has been in lockdown, so have only been getting fruit and vegetables from online versus a local grocer. Getting my first delivery of amazingly fresh and tasty produce has been a godsend.

I have popped in on the spur of the moment a few times and the range is fantastic, fresh and local. Everyone is really friendly, you can grab a coffee and they are open most days at the moment! Every time I go, I come away with a big box of goodies. I am going to order online as well as they have some great deals.

I received my fruit and vegetable box today. I was delighted with the quality of the goods in the box and I can't wait to try them.

If i could score 7 out of 5 i will do it.

Great variety of fresh produce plus honey, jams, cured meats and a Cafe serving coffee and food. Also a great covered indoor space perfect for kids to run about and live music.

My friends recommended me as organic produce and it seems that way but its all chemical free, not certified bla bla bla.no thanks.

Huge fan of Hillview farm. Their produce is always fresh and there is a good selction of fruit and veg in the medium mixed box I usually get. Prices are also very reasonable and competitive and free delivery over $50 is definitely an added bonus. My picture doesn't do it justice as there is more stuff below the first layer shown.

We have placed 10 orders now so it's time for a review.

We took up the attractive welcome offer which included both the fruits and veggies box. It was a great experience at the start - produces were fresh and delivery was as scheduled.

However, from then on the experience is rather hit and miss when we select what we actually need instead of going for the set boxes. There are always one or two produces that look sad or already started to rot. Although you can take photos and they would credit you back after sending emails but it's a hassle and you don't have what you need then. I've written 3-4 times already.

Sometimes, the watermelon and peach are not sweet at all. I guess I can't expect all produces to be of high quality all the time but when we are paying double the price than our local fruits shop, it can make us feel disappointed.

I was happy that they use compostable bags but I hope they can also phraseout plastic punnet and net soon.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm aware and am not expecting the fruit and veg to be perfect. I never said I have a problem with the shape of the produces too. But when the quality control team is sending off bok choy that have multiple leaves peeled off, oranges that start to dry out and figs that are breakable at first touch, that's not ok. Again, I appreciate that there is a credit back system but I really don't have time to take pictures of the items that are not fresh with every other order. I want to support sustainable farmers but it got to be sustainable for the customers too.

And thanks for letting me know about putting a note to opt out plastic packaging but what I was refering to is that it doesn't have to be an option for Hillview in the near future or that biodegradable punnets/ cardboard can be considered.

It feels like it's in early stages as there's not much other than veggies, but the veggies are excellent quality. There was a very groovy jazz duo playing

I’ve tried a few different food places in terms of delivering fruit and veg and by far Hillview Farms is the absolute best… I’m still in or at how it can be organic food and last so long and be so fresh… The best part about them is also that they don’t use unnecessary packaging like most others… It comes in a box and it is waste free! Only stumbled upon them recently and I’m so happy to have done so… Still cheaper than any of the major supermarkets which is incredible

I got my first delivery today. I ordered one off small fruit and veg box with extra golden beetroot, free range eggs and other fruit to make up $50 free delivery. There was a 20% off order as an incentive to try out the service. I was very happy. The delivery was punctual and I was kept informed throughout the day about when it was arriving. The produce looked fresh and tasted brilliant. There was minimal packaging and I was impressed that the baby spinach came in a fully compostable bag. The hardest thing is that the produce is seasonal and you don't know what's coming in the box, so you end up with items you don't like or use infrequently. All in all, a good alternative to going to farmers' markets yourself.
