Received a building inspection report of a property provided by vendor. This inspection was conducted by Hills Building inspection company and claimed no major defects. As interested buyer based on this report, I trusted this report (my mistake) and exchanged the contract. During cooling off period, I conducted my independent building inspection report and found several major defects and even illegal construction inside the building which was not referred in vendor's report. It was found that the provided report by vednor was completely misleading. I had to cancel the contract and lost a lot of money and time due to this misleading report provided by this company. A few weeks later, received a report for another property (prepared by this company) and ineterstingly again claimed no major defects was found in the established house! I am not going to trust their report again.

Buyers beware! Received a building and pest inspection report done by these guys (Vendor inspection report). There's clear issues in subfloor space VISIBLE in the photo in the report and yet the inspection report just talks about lack of ventilation ducts and no mention of subsidence and a pillar falling over!

Outstanding communication and customer service prior to a pre-purchase building inspection.
After receiving advice of potential structural issues from a preliminary inspection of the property, the owners revoked their interest in our accepted offer upon hearing of our intentions to go ahead with an inspection in the coming days.
