A very good star from Hill End Heritage Centre when you visit Hill End.
This is the best local information centre I’ve been to. It’s more like a museum and gallery. The collection shows the rich history of Hill End and the technology tastefully brings it all to life. There’s something for all ages. Once you’re done head next door for a coffee at the cosy General Store.
A must place to visit whilst at Hill End. A lot of mining artifacts and provides visitors a historical insight of Hill End. It provides you with an idea how the village was like.
