I just completed my ppg course with dave, and from start to finish, I had a great time, everything from the tutoring from dave, the accommodation and the people it couldn't have been better in any way.

Had a great time. I'm definitely coming back for my PPG. Instructors/trainers are very friendly and have lots of experience in the field, making learning easier and less stressful. 10/10 Will do again.

Life changing experience! Definitely the best instruction you can get in Australia! Staying on site is so handy! I have the world's best hobby now thanks to Dave

Dave is a world class instructor who puts the students first, we are lucky to have him in Australia. Training exercises executed with great organisation and multiple layers of safety. Entire local team are amazing, they all go above and beyond to help out and make your experience as good as it can be. I wish I had done this sooner, the course was absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend it enough!

Dave and the team do a great job teaching all levels of paragliding and paramotoring. Would highly recommend. Always a good time to be had at the club house.

Great group of instructors. Had an excellent time, battled some weather but turned out great. Got lots of flying in, signed off and absolutely hooked!

The team are very experienced and knowledgeable and are keen to give you a great experience.

Highly recommend if you are looking to get into paragliding!

Did my PPG training with them. Can't recommend them enough. Dave and Aidan are really nice people and amazing instructors. They even helped me with my gear (replacing parts, fixing issues and fine tuning the engine). They train at different spots so there are always options regardless of the wind direction (plus Laurieton is really beautiful). They were flexible with my schedule, making everything easier. Accommodation is nice and handy located to chill after a long day of training. I'll be definitely coming back for learning more advanced maneuvers once I get enough flying time. See you in the air!

I did my PG course over Christmas at High Adventure and I would totally recommend flying with these guys. Dave and Aidan are absolute legends and they made the whole crew feel confident, comfortable and safe. Happy flying!

Briliant school to learn to fly! Dave and Aidan are both supportive instructors with a great knowledge and experience. They also have a comfy and convenient accommodation with a walking distance to shops, cafes and beautiful walking tracks by the river. High Adventure is highly reccomended!

Awesome team of guys with heaps of experience. Have been in contact with them since my course regarding a bunch of queries I've had and they've always been happy to help.

Brilliant location and world class teaching. The classroom environment High Adventure creates is intimate and not once did I feel unsafe. Dave and Aiden's acute instruction and supervision makes learning the sport fun and inspiring. The school itself is homely and has plenty of yard space to hang out in down time. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else, what a ripper!

My wife and I both did the 10 day Paragliding Course. We are in our 50’s and were not sure what to expect yet from the first day, were made to feel welcome and safe by David Wainwright, Aidan and the crew of High Adventure.
You will never forget the first flight of course, what a buzz. However, the whole learning experience of how to fly, the great sites around Laurieton and confidence gained from being taught by the best, will stay with us forever!
Thank you guys.
Sharon & Phil.

I did my straight through paramotor course in November, Dave and Aiden were great teachers and could answer any question I had. They were always very helpful and even helped me repair my paramotor multiple times.

My stay in the cabins was very good aswell. All round great experience!

High Adventure have the instructors, the equipment, the launch sites and training hill to get you sky high.
I completed my pg2 rating here and was impressed with every aspect of this friendly professional outfit.
Thanks Dave and Adain.

I learned to paraglide with Dave and High Adventure in February 2019. There’s a reason this school has a reputation as one of Australia’s best.

Dave’s knowledge is excellent, both of paragliding generally and of the local sites. I felt total confidence in Dave’s supervision and advice.

Learning paragliding anywhere is challenging for both the instructors and the students, so you’ll need to stay flexible if you’re going to get the best from the experience.

The whole experience of doing the course is both challenging and fun. The accommodation is more than adequate. It’s not 5 star but comes for a bargain price. If you don’t like it there are plenty of other options you’re welcome to explore.

I’m looking forward to heading back to catch up with the team for some more flying soon.

High Price adventure! Low satisfaction! For the money i paid i definitely dont feel satisfied the experience i recieved! Far too many students in the course.everytime we were at a launch site there was up to a 2 hour wait before you had your turn to do a flight down to the beach.there were at least 12 or more students enroled in my course, and additional people from other courses would turn up unexpectedly.very frustrating cause it really slowed the learning process.average communication skills.one of his instructors always used the word "don't and no you don't do it like this". He also had a body odour problem that made me nearly vomit in the car I was dry reaching.personal hygiene should be really enforced in the introduction to the course for both instructors and students, it was an issue. I mentioned that to Dave he failed to do anything about it or make any thing of it. Dave kept his rebull drinks in the studend chilled drinking water.dirty cans in drinking water.and would reach in elbow deep with filthy hands to get the redbulls out.disgusting.disrespectful.just Bad! My good friend was pushed off a cliff by Dave Wainwright, when there was not enough wind and went straight into a tree. Negligence.he had a duty of care to keep that student safe! He yelled with pain as he collided.all of the high adventure staff displayed very little experience in dealing with this emergency situation.and sought advice from another pilot that was there on the day.it took an hour and a half to get him out and get him to the hospital.luckily no broken bones but he was still pulling bits of tree out of his leg 5 weeks later.both my friend and I are of the strong view that we did not receive good value for money and there were many fundamental elements that were not up to scratch. I asked for a refund of $2,250 out of the $5,000 that I paid he said he will not give me a refund.accommodation had cockroaches in the kitchen I had a spider run at my leg in the shower the window seal was absolutely filthy. The video of my friend getting pushed off the cliff At Harry's into a tree under the supervision instruction of Dave Wainwright will be up on YouTube very soon.
We are only halfway through from getting signed off for our licence.we are not going back to complete our training at high adventure we are getting someone else to complete the course.we feel that we should be refunded a good portion of the $5,000 that we have paid.the old saying never pay a tradesman until he has completed the job.

Currently doing the paragliding and paramotor course at High Adventure. The instructors are awesome and extremely knowledgeable. Can't fault it. Perfect.
