Beautiful and peaceful spot to relax for a getaway. We stayed for 2 nights, bit of a dirt road to get to the property but is 2WD suitable. Tony was very pleasant to chat with and a very friendly host with thorough knowledge of the area. The cabin we stayed in was clean and tidy, with linen, cutlery, cookware and towels provided -BYO shampoo/conditioner/coffee. Tony drops off firewood for the fireplace each day and if you need more you can purchase some.

The 2 doggos followed us on our forest walk (and we ended up following them back as we thought we got lost)! They are very friendly and roam the property alongside their owners and guests. The common room is open 'till late and there's a communal pool table for guests to use, as well as an outdoor pool and tennis courts. Plenty of walking trails. Starlink is used for wifi but there is no phone reception which adds to the peaceful nature. Will be back, Thank You for having us.

This is a very special place thanks to Tony and Jenny’s efforts. Lovely cabins nestled in a tranquil bowl in the mountains. Great hikes and it was so nice to chat around the fire pit in the evening. All overseen by the enthusiastic Doug and Delta.

The location and views were stunning, very close to nature. Cleanliness of the property was also commendable. Well maintained tennis court and open pool. We enjoyed the bbq spot with fire pit next to it.

Such a peaceful and beautiful country hide away. I could see myself hidden away there for weeks on. Follow their directions and you can not get lost. Wished the freezer was bigger considering how far from glouster is. I wasn't able to try the hiking tracks but they provide you with a map. Take insect replent. For the cabin as insects love visitors. The cabins were just so comfortable that napping and relaxing are going to happen without trying. I very much recommend it. The only negative was I had to put my blind 15 yr old dog into doggy care as they say no dogs now but we had neighbours with a dog. I didn't like the unfairness of the extra cost but more so the stress it put my dog under with the new rules.

Nestled in the valley at the end of a long driveway, you will find Hidden Haven, where I had the recent pleasure of enjoying a three night stay.
Upon arriving we were greeted by Tony who was accompanied by Doug and Delta (the dogs). Tony told us all about the property and I was looking forward to a relaxing break in a loft cabin.
The cabin itself was very cute. A self contained bungalow with the bathroom, living, kitchen and balcony areas on the main floor, and the bedroom on the top floor. The kitchen was fully equiped with cutlery, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, kettle and a bench top oven/air fryer.
The cabin was just what I was after and included all the basics - though do not expect luxurious amenities, this is more of a practical stay.
The property is expansive. Facilities include a pool which we made use of a number of times, tennis court, communal fire pit as well as a hall with sofas, pool table etc.
In addition, there are plenty of walks to do on the property. We chose to take the walk to the Dilgry river, which was a challenging walk but we were rewarded by a clean, flowing river to cool off in once we arrived.
What I didn't expect was the amount of wildlife. There were so many birds which was lovely to see. And on a few occasions we saw some kangaroos - though they were elusive and ran away when we got near.
The nearest town is Gloucester which is where we stopped on our way in to purchase groceries for the stay.
There is no mobile reception on the property, which is exactly what I wanted as I wanted to disconnect and unwind, however there is excellent wifi. As a result, I spent more time than what I would have liked on my phone. If you are wanting to disconnect, I would recommend setting a limit to the amount of time that you spend on the internet.
Overall, I had the most wonderful stay on this clean and tidy property. Tony was very friendly and welcoming and it was a truly lovely area to come and unwind.

What a beautiful place to stay in Barrington tops and more than that we felt and looked after by Hidden Haven owners Tony and Jenny like a family who tried and completed each of our requests to the full extent. Thanks guys, we still remember you and would love to visit again.
Property is located at exactly the right spot providing the majestic experience of beautiful mountains and Forests. The collection of ambience, accommodation, scenic beauty and hospitality was one of the best we had in Australia.

A beautiful spot and only a short drive to the spectacular Barrington Tops. We stayed in a loft cabin overlooking the rainforest. Accommodation was well appointed and waking up to the sound of the rainforest birds was so peaceful. Plenty to do at the property - rainforest walks, tennis, swimming pool. The owners were very welcoming and helpful.

Another stunning retreat! Humanitix have had the last 2 annual retreats here. The new owners have done such a great job at refining the experience. So tranquil, beautiful and calming.

Couldn't recommend higher!

A quick decision, to get out of the burbs, and book 3 nights in one of the Loft Cabins, was an excellent choice! Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Extemely warm, friendly, and knowledgeable hosts, Tony and Jenny, met us on arrival. It is truly a Hidden Haven; so relaxing and peaceful. There's a communal area with open fire. We were lucky to be there on a pizza night. On one of our walks, we were joined by Doug and Delta.two of the most devoted tour guides.not sure if they realise they're dogs! We'll be back! Hope to see you there.

They were able to bring my booking forward at short notice.
They welcomed us as we arrived. Also saw us on our way out.
The cabin was clean as was the grounds.
I will be returning & have recommended it to other’s.
It was a pleasure to un wind & that was helped by the limited reception.

Friendly owners who give lots of information about local surrounds. We did the rainforest walk with their two dogs Delta and Doug who were great guides! Loved sitting on the back deck in the sun listening to the creek and birds. We will be returning soon!

What an amazing part of the world. Hidden Haven is set in a spectacular location amongst rolling farmland, rainforests and good old Australian bush. We stayed in one of the loft cabins and were super impressed by their layout. Small well equipped galley kitchen, an open fire place (with wood supplied), spa bath and large balcony overlooking the creek. Very clean and cozy. We didn't spend much time in the communal area but if we stayed longer we would have played tennis or pool or table tennis. Tony and Jenny are amazing hosts and went out of their way to check we had everything we needed. They also provided great advice on the many walks around the property. All up a wonderful two days away and we can't wait to return.

Tony and Jenny were amazingly welcoming and friendly! They allowed us to have a super late check in as that’s what we needed and even put the heater on for our cabin to heat up, so we arrived to a lovely warm room. The pizza oven is amazing! Tony lights the bonfire for guests to sit around and chat, we all shared chips and marshmallows one night, it was so much fun, we felt like we were amongst friends! The room was clean and cosy, with great views of nature. The tennis courts and main hall are also great with things to do like pool, ping pong, tennis, board games etc.we went for a hike one day and one of the dogs, Delta, came with us to show us the way! It was excellent and we highly recommend! We’re looking forward to going back some time soon. Thanks again Tony and Jenny, such a relaxing time away x

Cosy cabin with everything we needed in a beautiful big property with lots of walking tracks and birdlife. Very peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Tony, Jenny, Doug and Delta were the perfect hosts and were very welcoming. Doug and Delta were great doggy tour guides on the forest walks around the property.

Fires were great in the wintertime, and the stars were amazing at night! Loved our stay - we will be back!

Perfect place to relax & soak up some sun and watch the birds. Have a wine in front of the fire, read a book or go for a walk.
Thanks Tony & Jenny.

My husband and I loved staying at Hidden Haven. It was quiet and serene. Beautiful property and landscape. Lots of animals, birds, cows, horses and the two friendly dogs Delta & Doug. Tony and Jenny the property owners made us feel very welcome but also gave us plenty of space to relax. Cabin was clean and warm. Loved sitting on the little balcony and having breakfast. Very relaxing stay. Highly recommend.
