I can't fault this place, Julie and Liam and Bob were wonderful. I bought a few wines and I can't wait to share.

We’ve been to Mudgee a few times now. This time with my brother & his wife who have never been before. I wanted to make sure we visit Heslop Wines because of our great & memorable experience from our last visit. Julie opened their doors an hour early when I thought they were open at 10: 00am. Their hospitality and their wines are why we visit their vineyard when we are in Mudgee! #cabernetmerlotzinfandel

Really wonderful family winery with beautiful wines! Has both great whites and reds, but their reds are a real standout. Tasting is in their lovely garden and Julie, Bob and Liam are all so generous in their time and explication of their wines. Would highly recommend!

Amazing merlot and a great intimate wine tasting. Much more preferred to visit a local meet the makers place, than to a winery down the road, where we were treated as a number. We ended up buying one of everything we tasted! Loved the up and coming Rascal's label and felt well looked after with our kids and their hospitality. Shout out to Liam and his visionary wine making skills!

Be prepared for an intimate yet casual tasting experience in the gardens of the family that run this winery. Couple of truly delicious reds reflecting the best of what the region has to offer.

This is a small gem, situated on 8 acres Heslop is run by Julie and her partner who are incredibly knowledgeable about wine. Their wine tasting is generous and laid back, and their cottage garden is lovely. Highly recommended booking as they have limited spaces.

Definitely worth visiting, wines are small batch and run by a family who really have a passion for their produce. I'm a repeat purchaser & for me this vineyard is a perfect example of quality wines mudgee region has to offer. Rascal Zin is my recommendation. The tasting is done in the beautiful family cottage.

So glad we made a stop here, this was by far our favourite winery of the weekend. Julie and Bob made us so welcome in their home and were happy to have a chat about all things wine. Will definitely be back once they open up for tastings again!

Felt like you’re having a wine in the backyard of your house. Super relaxed atmosphere with delicious wines.

My husband and I visited this winery over the weekend. We sat outside in the garden for our tasting. The garden was beautiful and we had the most incredible winter's day and would have loved to sit out there all day. Liam is one of the winemakers there and ran the tasting for us. He was very friendly and had a lot of knowledge and passion for the wines. This was probably our favourite winery we visited over the weekend. It was such a gorgeous spot and we loved so many of the wines. Make sure you take a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

I am not a red wine drinker, and yet I ended up buying two of their different reds! The Mr Rascal Whole Bunch Shiraz in particular, so delicious. The winery itself is very, very pretty. I could have sat in the winter sun, enjoying the view of the vineyards and the native plants all day.

The best winery in Mudgee - possibly Australia. Bob and his family were wonderful and so accommodating. The wine was amazing - the chardonnay and zin tor were stand outs. Thank you!

This is a top shelf family winery. The quality is amazing and the people who make it are equally amazing!

Having spent the day wine tasting I thought I was over it all when arriving at Heslop Wines. How wrong I was.

The quality and variety of wines (given that this is a small winery) was astounding. The only thing surpassing this was that this winery is clearly run by a genuine and passionate family who deserve every bit of validation that they can get.

This is a must visit for anyone visiting Mudgee for a great winery experience.

We were made to feel right at home! Can't recommend Heslop highly enough. The family-run winery produces some great great wines (we left with a case), and we were made to feel right at home during our tasting experience. Will 100% come here every time I return to Mudgee!
