Heritage Gardens Nursery reviews
57Great Cafe and a large selection of plants. We go there whenever we're down that way.
Could not recommend this place more and our new go to Nursery. This lovely gentlemen Ben, took time out of his lunch break to personally show us different plant recommendations and help design our garden. What great service!
We're new to indoor plants and had Matt spend time with us answering all our questions and advising on best options. He was a wealth of info and we could tell he loved what he was doing. Will def be back when we're ready for our next ones.
Fantastic nursery, the cafe out the back has such a beautiful view and the food is fantastic n
A large garden centre with huge range of plants, advise and expert help. The Cafe has grown to a large size over the years offering amazing cakes decorated in flowers, scones and cream tea or something more substantial, such as my brisket burger photo with the most amazing onion rings (non greasy)
Some homewares in a separate shop on site and garden accessories store at the entrance/ exit
Burger was amazing! I dream and crave the burger we had there. Straight up fantasy on a plate.
Coffee mediocre at best and was done eating the burger before it was even sippable. Scones were OK. Jam and cream delicious.
Large selection of plants. Surprisingly I found ginkgo tree which I had been looking for a long time. Pricing is reasonable. Can’t wait to visit again.
Picked up a couple of fruiting plants yesterday and had an absolutely wonderful interaction with Matt. The nursery was absolutely wonderful but Ill be back again and again and again because of Matt and the beautiful staff there.
I came home absolutely BEAMING they had a bunch of plants I was looking for as well as a couple I was not expecting to be in stock for a few months! How exciting!
I cant wait to come back!
Thank you!
Love this place, staff are available to assist and advise, with added bonus of a great cafe with a delectable menu
Met a friend here for lunch and couldn't imagine a more picturesque setting for a Cafe than in the stunning nursery. Absolutely beautiful location. The menu could be a little more diverse though.
Great service and help in the gardening section. We were searching for roses and pots and soil. Beautiful large section of roses all kinds and all blooming when we went; late spring. The cafe on site is classy. Quality selection of food and drinks to choose from. We were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our slow cooked beef ribs with sweet Potatoe chips and kabucha tea from local business (tea gardens), wish we had more time to stay for dessert and coffee. Next time. Highly recommend a visit
Beautifully set out nursery with great selection of healthy plants. Lunch at the cafe was lovely.great food & service. Staff at Nursery & Cafe were friendly & very helpful.
The nursery, grounds and cafe are big and beautiful. The food is really delicious and beautifully presented.
We were looking for a Japanese Maple and amongst the extensive variety we found the perfect tree. Thanks.
Favourite little coffee spot, always nice to walk around the plants and pick up fairy garden pieces and jams on the way out
Thank you guys for your wonderful service and wonderful goodies you served up to celebrate the life of my late grandmother.
Lovely spot for a visit or a shop, plenty to see and be inspired by. Friendly approachable staff and a fab coffee. Thanks crew!
Don’t get me wrong I think this place is nice. The only problem I have is how can you be a well renowned nursery with a good name and still sell CONFIDOR.
There’s been many studies on this and it’s being pulled off the shelves everywhere due to the fact that it disrupts bees navigation systems to return home to their colony resulting in colony death.
So no bees equals no flowers and plants.
So how can you be a reputable business that promotes plant health while selling something that kills the part of nature that keeps plants going?
Does this business care about plants or money?
With the name and reputation like heritage gardens I would certainly hope it wasn’t just about money yet the second I walk in I see CONFIDOR on the shelves in the main entry.
Do better.
We went for lunch yesterday and were very disappointed with the food. I am not one to leave food on my plate ever but yesterday I left over half. The chips also were totally tasteless and obviously taken from a packet and heated. We will not be revisiting.
