Lovely food, have been here for the high tea before as well. Staff were really unwelcoming- basically handed the menu to my aunt to “go help yourselves”. They also made the wrong order of coffee & didn’t offer to change, just proceeded to put the drinks down.

Booked two weeks in advance to spend some much needed catch up time with friends. Without any notice prior to arrival, we were told we had 10 more minutes and then we had to leave as our table was booked for another group of four. We were there for 1 hour. How rude. Cannot recommend.

The gardens themselves were exquisite, the gardening staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The range of plants was quite vast; beware of the spiders!
The menu at the cafe was limited and the prices were slightly higher than expected however this is a cafe where you pay for the view, we had a beautiful balcony view of majority of the gardens which held topic for all of our visit and the hot beverages were good, not great.

It is full of perfect weather, food, and beautiful flowers. There are kind employees. It's a little pricey, but it was a fun time. I recommend that you make a reservation and sit outside. The chef is good at cooking.:)

One of our favourite cafes in the Hunter area! The coffee is beautiful! And so are the scones! Beautiful surroundings. Good service. You have the option to sit outside, which is really nice on a warm day.

We love coming to Heritage Garden Café because they have a relaxing environment surrounded by flowers. However for a successful business, the environment alone is not enough. The two other key factors in this kind of business are food and service. I came here with my son and we were welcomed in a very cold, indifferent manner and one staff in particular was arrogant. I don’t care how busy you are, I am still expecting a good service. We have waited half an hour for the food to arrive and I had a hungry son we ordered a lunch box for him which would take a maximum 5min! I was very disappointed about how average the beef ribs were and definitely over priced!

Overall they ruined the experience and this is my honest review. I know as a local other services offer a much better experience and better quality food

Food was very average, I can’t really say I’m impressed and the menu was quite limited. Staff were friendly and the location is pretty but not anything super special.

I love the food each time I'm here. I came back for a high tea to celebrate my 30th birthday and it didn't dissapoint.

This is such a great cafe, set inside the nursery amongst beautiful gardens. Perfect dining inside or out.
We sat outside in the fresh air, shaded by trees. Great staff & wonderful service.

Great food. I am a coeliac and find it hard to trust places. The Heritage Gardens Cafe made me feel confident in their food and the staff were really nice about my concerns. They have yummy food and the best thing is I didn't get sick.

Myself and two friends went here for lunch today one had the potato croquettes which he liked the other had scrambled eggs which she liked I had the beef burger and here is the problem the beef patty was prefabricated not nice the tomatoes would have been sliced a few days earlier white and mushy also they used the off cuts of the tomato chips were over cooked and all this for $21.00. When I told the waitress that I didn't like it she just walked off. I had one bite out of it. I wasn't offered anything else. So I paid for the lot. And will never eat there again.

Called in for a mid morning relaxing coffee.
Great ambience, attentive staff, very relaxing and a good selection of food.
Seating options, inside, on the verandah or small garden area. All very comfortable.
However, the coffee (cappuccino) even though it was served warm and with a smile was very disappointing; lacking flavour, aroma and colour. Either the mug was too big for the coffee shot or the coffee beans.
If you don’t drink coffee, 4 star

We held an afternoon tea for my sister's baby shower here and it was amazing. The team were incredibly helpful with the organisation up to the event, and the food was delicious, especially their famous scones! Would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a relaxing event with a lovely location and great food.

Enjoyed a leisurely lunch here, set within the beautiful garden and Nursery, all the better too, as table service provided, so no queueing to order then returning to counter to collect meals! So a relaxing experience overall. The food was delicious and fresh, I loved the middle eastern salad! Staff friendly and efficient. Definitely one to return to.

Great cafe inside Heritage Gardens Nursery. Lovely garden location with undercover decks, alfresco areas, and inside seating too.

It can get busy here and sometimes there’s a bit of a wait. This morning it was not as busy as usual. Service was prompt and friendly and brunch arrived in good time.

The coffee was great, and wanting to try something different I had the Israeli Eggs. Perfectly poached eggs served on sourdough with crispy kale (SO good - who knew?) hummus, bbq broccolini, haloumi and a zaatar dressing. The flavours were amazing, and worked wonderfully together. Afterwards, a little stroll around the nursery capped off an enjoyable brunch.

Reasonably priced, a lovely setting and yummy food - I would recommend and will return.

Love it! I've been here a few times in the past couple of months. It's an absolute delight to dine outside under the trees with a little fountain bubbling away looking over the garden of the nursery.
Had a delicious chicken salad yesterday, with lots of delicious ingredients including, beetroot, pumpkin walnuts & lots more. Delicious sweet treats available.
Good coffee, pleasant staff. Airconditioned Indoors, open wrap around verandah or outdoor dining available.
No wheelechair access. Toilet facility available in the garden shop.
