Working with Helen to design my wedding dress and veil was a great experience. I first reached out to Helen after deciding to wear my mum’s wedding dress. I had previously been told it wasn’t possible to make the adjustments I was hoping for but Helen immediately put me at ease, assured me she could make it work and within our first meeting, we agreed on the design. She clearly communicated the process she would take to bring the dress back to life (which included hand cleaning old lace, pulling the bodice apart and piecing back together and creating a new skirt) and immediately filled me with confidence.

Helen’s work was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly what I had in mind and fit to perfection. She has an eye for detail and took the time with me on every visit to consider every inch of the dress. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and am so pleased I decided to go with Helen.

I am not big into clothing shopping so getting a wedding dress was very daunting but from the initial consult she was so attuned to my likes and dislikes. She knew what I wanted before I did myself and tailored me my dream gown. She has been supportive through COVID postponements and my changing body after a baby. Her holistic approach helped me shape the style of other elements to my wedding. Her extras go beyond the standard and she has the most exquisite hair pieces and veils. Her lush studio makes you feel like perfection even without hair or make up and with my mother overseas unable to go through the process with me she even stood in for babysitting duties and camera woman when trying on. I am so grateful for the perfect gown she has made me and I cannot wait to wear it!

Helen was incredible. She called to ask me questions before my first visit and when i got there she actually told me she already knew the dress for me! Haha. She pulled out this beautiful dress and it had features that i didn’t even know i wanted! We used those features with some personalised tweaks and I was obsessed with the final product. I’ve had the pleasure of owning Helen’s pieces for over ten years. I love her bespoke and creative vision.

Organised very last minute to get my wedding dress and another dress altered, called on Wednesday, had an appointment on Saturday and both dresses were altered perfectly by Sunday that week. Really impressive!

Every communication was absolutely perfect, the price was really reasonable and both of my dresses look amazing (can't share pics yet as my wedding hasn't happened).

I would highly recommend the alterations here. All the appointments were really COVID safe which I appreciated and I can't wait till everyone gets to see my wedding dress!

The experience of working with Helen was amazing! She was so patient and understanding throughout the whole process and made me feel really comfortable and made my wedding dress absolutely perfect. She was always so warm and welcoming and I’m so grateful for her expertise and guidance throughout the process.

Where do I begin. Helen created 4 incredible gowns for my wedding (my wedding gown, party dress, mother of the bride gown and party dress). The dresses were amazing and Helen was exceptional in her attention to detail to ensure the dresses were just perfect. Even though we didn't give her much time, Helen happily agreed to help us and we are so thankful that she did. Our experience with Helen goes beyond 5 stars, she was professional but also warm and caring. She is full of ideas to make sure she creates a gown that you feel beautiful in. I am so grateful she was part of my special day.

The one and only place I went to shop for a gown and I made the purchase on the same day.

I did go in with a specific piece that I already had my eye on, but Helen advised to also try on other shapes so I can be sure.and it made the decision making so much clearer.

Helen is an amazing designer. Her designs are so beautiful and she did a brilliant job customizing my gown to add hidden pockets. I am also utterly in love with the unique leaf lace pattern she designed.

I had doubts while waiting for my gown to be ready as it took a long time since I started the process pretty early on. The doubts were from my own insecurities and friends clouding my judgment with their own preferences, but in every fitting appointment, Helen would give me all the assurance and confidence I needed. She also took lots of photos and videos for me so I could share them with my mother who is unable to be a part of the process and attend my wedding due to travel restrictions.

Overall, I am really grateful for Helen going above and beyond.happy that I found such a talented local designer, and very excited to wear my gown at my wedding next week.:)
