Heffron Pedal Park reviews
37Good fun for the kids and great place for younger ones to learn how to ride their bikes as it has a little hill.
I umpired a cricket match here, on Saturday, the pitch was in a state of disrepair, with 6 cuts in the width of the pitch and 2 rectangular repairs at the popping crease ends plus holes approximately in the middle of the pitch, making it not a very good surface to either bat or bowl on.
This place is such a good idea. It's a pedal park with signs and traffic lights mimicking real road rules, where the kids can have fun and learn road safety.
It's fenced, and quite a large space where the kids can go on their bikes or scooters for a good amount of time. Pets not allowed inside.
It's in a quiet area of Heffron Park and really near the pool. Great place to bring the kids before or after a swim. Lots of parking available.
We like the place, kids love it too. Only comment is that shade could be better for summer. Also last time the gate was broken not locking. There's a tap there that kids play with which can get messy in the playground area. The cycle area is absolutely amazing and we go there very often. Parking could be a problem during events - sometimes the grounds are used for competitions.
Lovely pedal park for the kids. Bring their bike or scooter and they will be entertained for a few hours!
We went here for the grandsons excursion. Only concern is the very tall wire climb. I don't fell that this is suitable in a park! Rea for toddlers and preschoolers.
An amazing place to bring your kids to. Clean and family friendly, toilet nearby. Very good to get your kids to get tired through riding a bike or a scooter
We had a grate time but there was still a lot of people that didn't have musks on and just happened to be the same people that don't care for their kids and how they interact with others. Ather than that me and my daughter had a grate morning riding her bike.
The bike/pedestrian direction pictures need to be re-done.
Also, there are no pictures where the Des Renford carpark meets the path.
Dangerous walking - too many dogs off-leash and/or unsupervised. Shame on the offending owners. Some are vicious. I'm physically unable to get out of the way and I shouldn't have to do so. It's not an off-leash park! Maybe some signs would help. I've never seen any rangers patrolling either.

Son loves it.real life street signs and even red green lights for intersections that change like real stop lights. Teaches them direction and learn signs early
Excellent playground for kids to ride and learn trafic. Kids enjoyed the experience. Looking forward to go back
If you want your gets to be road safe - bring then here with their bikes and scooters and let them learn the rules of the road is this well maintained mini roadway. It is complete with working traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, stop streets etc.
There are shaded areas with tables if you want to have a picnic or even have a birthday parking. There is ample parking alongside the park.
OMG this place is amazing. Love the fact that the area is fenced off especially with a 2 year who loves to run away on you. We can sit here watch him on his scooter and not worry that he is going to run on to the road
Lovely place to teach young ones about road safety, also a playground nearby, toilet facilities and a larger path for older kids
Cute kids cycle way fully fenced with some seating. Toilets close by. Really popular on weekends, quieter during the week. Good for all ages and stages of riding from toddler to maybe 10. Swings park next to it so when they are done with riding bikes, can play on the swings.
Bike path is walking distance from toilet and playground. It is also fenced which is a plus. The bike path itself has no shade so not so great when hot and extremely sunny. Just needs a cafe close by.
Love this park. Great amenities, not too hard to get to. My son loves that it has actual traffic lights that light up.
I love this park. It’s good for riding a bike, tennis and swimming which I usually do for sport. It’s an excellent park for soccer and netball as well. The local government already improved this park so much, thanks a lot to them.
Great bike track for smaller kids and an enclosed road with lots of space to ride for the bigger kids.
