headspace Penrith

Awesome, I’ve been with headspace for 3 years coming and honestly the support that I have received is amazing i whouldnt be where I am today with out everyone’s support there’s heaps of opportunities to reach out and socialise and connect with the community and learn about mental health and sharing stories to help other people, it may feel scarey to reach out I personally understand but once you do trust me.
It’s ok not to be ok.

But with the medication and doctor side of things I’d have to say it’s been a really rough time I’m getting diagnosed and un diagnosed every time I go for a med check I’ve been seeing this doctor lately and she’s made comments about my weight, how some of my mental health problems might just be “a phase becuase of my depression and age” Which is completely wrong there isn’t a certain age for mental health everyone has there things they need help with and overall she simply doesn’t listen to what I’m saying to her to explain how I feel she just tells me what she thinks and one thing I’ve learnt. NO ONE KNOWS YOUR BODY AND MIND BETTER THEN YOU.

Service was good, counciling was good but I do have to say they could have done a hell of a lot better dealing with their clients problems, I had things that needed to be dealt with and they didn't seem to care as much as I thought and the replies I received after a "team meeting" about me occurred were interesting to say the least.

Laughed at me, sat me in a room by myself with an ipad for an hour, made me do colouring in, then proceeded to tell me i couldnt do anything about my current situation.we love headspace <3

You couldn't contact a more unproffesional, useless, incompetant bunch of people if you tried. Constant cancelleations and phone calls from confused people not knowing what the hell is going on. I wonder how many young people have unalived themselves waiting for any sort of contact with you people. Shame!

I've been with headspace since 2020 and their service has been the best, they have given me so much support and giving me the best service someone could ask for.thank you for everything

Another useless so called mental health service in Penrith that doesn't deserve any donations or funding as they don't help people. They Don't bother calling people back that need it.
If you need help don't bother trying to get it here!
