Always working above and beyond
Honestly can't believe it's a free service
Imperfect and flawed due to demand. But the front desk staff were amazing all the time when I'd go there.
The people that work at headspace are some of the most compassionate and dedicated people i have ever witnessed grace a clinic.
Sadly the headspace system is underfunded and understaffed, due to a government determined to eliminate public infrastructure.
If you need help right away or are in a crisis, this service may not be ideal.
For me, ive found the wait times are well worth having a doctor or counsellor willing to take the time to help.
Got CPTSD FROM my family secretly bullying me my whole life. They not skilled to or equipped to deal with kids that know they are the designated scapegoat in a toxic higher functioning family, they could have helped, but don’t understand to help the symptom bearer and Identified Patient they need to treat and bring in the whole family system to be treated as the illness not just me.
I waited months to get an appointment as I have seriously unstable mental health and this organisation booked me in for January the 7th, then the day of my appointment canceled and said I could not make another appointment until the following month! I think this is pathetic, if someone needs support and has waited they are just pushed to the back of the line.
