We have used HD Trinder multiple times over the years. They have installed gas, a water heater, all the plumbing and gas for our kitchen, fixed a blocked toilet and (just now) installed the drainage for our storm water. Every time they were absolutely fantastic. They are old school professionals who show up on time, are polite, do a really professional job, and clean up afterwards. I cannot recommend them enough.

I only have good things to say about this family business. I’ve always found the guys to be reliable, punctual, communicative, honest and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

The service was delayed 2 hours, when the person arrived they did not do the job I booked them in for. He also over charged me a ridiculous amount for a job I could of done myself. I only ask him to do the jobs, as he came to do the job I booked but he talked me out of doing it. Charged me just under $400 to replace some 2 taps and a shower. I will not be recommending this business.

A truly refreshing plumbing business. They arrived on time, the worked hard to complete the job on the same day. They cleaned up after the job. A fair price for a great service. This company is the best in the business. Have used their services for years and right from reception to the workmen it is professional, honest, respectful and they are tradies who actually turn up when they say they will and if they can't you will be told and something else arranged. They have managed to fix a roof leakage that several other roofing services couldn't including the new roof installers. Cannot speak highly enough of this business it is a credit to the 'ethos' of the Trinder family.

It’s such a relief to deal with a clear, helpful and completely transparent plumbing service. Such a contrast to other companies I’ve dealt with. We had a serious blockage in our external waste pipe and HD Trinder came out quickly, showed me the issues on the pipe camera. Fixed the issue and took before and after videos of the blockage. Price was very reasonable. I highly recommend these guys.

Called to get kitchen drainage pipes fixed, David came the next day and fixed the piping with a simple solution. An earlier plumber quoted $550 for the work and never got back to me. Today I had David (a plumber from HD Trinder) come to give me a quote and I was delighted with his service. He was on time. His attention to detail was fantastic. He cleaned up after his work and even fixed up slack work by another company that had come to quote me last week.

Last week I had another company give me a quote to clear a blocked drain - they quoted me $7,000 because they said they needed to lift up a section of my deck to replace the pipe. They had tried the high-pressure snake to clear the drain and said it was impossible. I was horrified at the prospect of ruining my deck, so I called HD Trinder for a quote.

Before David (the HD Trinder plumber) began the work today I noticed that the plumber who had quoted me last week hadn't put screws back in the cover of the access point to my drain - he left only ONE of the screws in place. By contrast, David turned up on time, spent around 15 minutes to totally (TOTALLY!) clear the drain using the same equipment as the plumber from another company who had quoted me last week. The quote from HD Trinder to clear the drain was $350 (excl. GST). After finishing the work, David cleaned up everything and even provided screws for the cover plate that the other plumber had not replaced.

This was my first time using HD Trinder plumbers and I look forward to calling them again next time I need any plumbing work done.

We're new to the area and on moving in, we discovered very minor gas leak. I called HJ Trinder, mainly on the basis that they're local and long-established, and have no regrets whatsoever in doing so. It wasn't an emergency, but they squeezed me in early the next day, turned up on time, sorted the problem, and charged a reasonable fee. Personal and professional service throughout. A very positive experience.

Probably the best and most reliable plumbers in the area. They have replaced my hot water system and performed numerous routine maintenance on my plumbing over the years with great satisfaction. Also, they don't attempt to overservice you at all and provide honest advice. Strongly recommended.
