Hastings Point Beach

This is a very quiet exquisite little beach with beautiful fine sand. There’s an undertow which can throw you off balance very easily. Beware!

Love love love this place, quiet Monday to Friday and crazy busy on weekends. Great for catching mudcrabs & fishing and people here are so friendly.

Perfect spot for long relaxing walks, especially with the dogsyou get to see dolphins & free whale watching - they're jumping out of the water like crazy sometimes & at the right time of the year which would be june-october (at least that's when I saw plenty) just breathtaking - a paradise for young & old
Also, great for bird watching black cockatoos near the bushes & eagles and many more - bring your binoculars️?
This is a must for anybody who's loving nature and it's beautiful creatures

Nothing better than a stroll along the beach on a sunnyday, the sand between your toes and the sound of the waves so serene and peaceful.

Great beach with calm creek accessible aswell if you have young children. They recently added a set of stairs so you can get down to the creek with ease if the beach it to rough or windy. There is usually lifeguard on patrol during summer too which makes the surf a great place to swim safely. There is a convenience store and takeaway shop a short walk away that sells alcohol and coffee too. Great spot

Nice little spot to take the kids fishing, but definitely not a great place for a beach day.

Not a good place to surf. Lots of sharks. Be alert. Be aware. If going out in the surf keep looking around!

A very beautiful surf beach where you can relax and enjoy the sun. The beach is patrolled during school holidays. Today was the first day of holidays and there was only about 10 people on the beach. Forget the sunshine coast or the gold coast crowds. Enjoy the day here!
