Harvey Norman has in the past my go to franchise to buy expensive electronic items (I haven’t bought furniture or bedding as I find the Harvey Norman furniture range far too expensive for my budget. However, in my experience electronic items (laptops, televisions, ear buds etc…) are easier to price compare across other outlets. In this occasion I bought my first pair of Apple AirPods Pro 2. The reason I bought them at Harvey Norman North Ryde was I used PayPal Pay in four which was offered as a proxy payment instead of getting Harvey Norman’s interest free time capsule. I cannot get ‘credit’ due to my poor credit rating (decades ago). My poor credit rating which I fully take responsibility for is a permanent stain on my rating. Though thanks to PayPal pay in four as well as Afterpay I have managed to create a positive credit history over the last four years. I use Afterpay and PayPal pay in four for bigger items. I have not had any problems with my credit with these two pay systems. I do not have credit cards or personal loans and after my ‘trouble’ I got my act together and live on a strict budget (pension) and not all stores ‘allow’ for these pay by weeks purchases. So I was happy that Harvey Norman allowed me to use PayPal Pay in Four because if not I wouldn’t be able to purchase them. I hear the peanut gallery going on about that you could save. Of course I could. Yet, the motivation paying over a few weeks is a more productive manner in which to make certain purchases. So good on Harvey Norman.

Rubbish service! Was served by a guy called Vincent (which I think is one of their managers). All they care is their bottom line. Communication / service is great when you say you want to return something you bought so that they make you keep it.

Introduced us to their service guy (Roy) to help us with installation of our stove top. Super quick once they knew we wanted to return.but he was suppose to come back and patch up a hole. Told us would take 2 weeks to get the parts. It’s been 2 months and still nothing!

Chased them and still nothing happened! So how we have a hole on our granite top!

We had been here to buy a new phone. Troy from the staff helped us very kindly manner with all the process, he was very helpful and provided all the necessary information to understand. He made it very easy for us to go through the process and get a new phone.
A very jovial and knowledgeable staff of there's. Like there service.

Pleasant experience shopping. However, the fridge delivered was missing a couple of the shelves inside. Went back and they were rude and unhelpful and did not take responsibility or provide compensation.

Salesman was keen to close sales and failed to give us follow up call as promised about clean up of stain found. Poor customer service with too much talks promises as typical carsalesman would. I called them the follow up many times and couldnt reach the salesman. I had to go to the shop physically.

Never would purchase a single item from this store.
Gave one star two years ago because the salesman was very pushy.not happy about the shopping experience. However I spent money because I thought the 'product care' policy (cellphone) was good. Now I was just told this policy was not something I was expecting.well just don't trust their sales and read the T&Cs line by line by yourself.

The customer experience in this store is just not great. Bought a Bissell Spot Cleaner online, went to this store to pick up. Used the product once, and didn't do much for us. Brought it back to the store, and was asked to contact Harvey Norman Online instead. Wasted my 10 minutes drive to the store.

Sent an email to Harvey Norman online, and was directed back to the store. After multiple interactions with both online and offline store of Harvey Norman. Then I was asked to go directly to Bissell and in order to get my refund - I have to pay to ship their product from NSW to Victoria. Such a poor experience. If you have to buy a spot cleaner - I suggest pay a little more, and buy from another store so you don't have to deal with this ridiculous customer service. So disappointed with this North Ryde branch!

It’s a good place to find luxury furnishing. The Domayne has largest collection of all Luxury furnishing which can add a notch to your decoration. They do rotate their stock and can grab some stock take sale pick from stores, they are not available usually on the site.

Harvey Norman is a franchise store, so you can expect different discount and bargain in every store. Not all are alike, brand bargains anyway remain the same.

This is a store of reasonable size. The electric department is always busier than the furniture/bedding in my experience and therefore harder to find an available staff. The general shopping experience is alright. It's better to visit with some prior knowledge on what you desire.

This store isn't as large as their flagship store in Auburn although it's one of the better Harvey Norman stores for electronic and white goods. Plenty of stock and well laid out. The staff are friendly and eager to assist if you have any questions.

Waited 20 minutes for click and collect order, followed by 15 minutes on hold to the store. Call was never answered so eventually went in the store where there were 5+ staff standing around seemingly not busy. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Edit** - Vincent was able to help me replace my item in store today and apologised for the inconvenience.

However, this store still has a problem with its resourcing. Having only one person responsible for dealing with returns creates a single point of failure - this leads to poor outcomes for your customers. Please train some more staff members in how to deal with returns.

Very poor customer service. My theragun broke while under warranty. I tried phoning several times for hours without any answer. In the end I had to go to the store in person - when I arrived there were no customers in the store and at least five members of staff hanging around chatting and playing on the arcade machine in the store.

Apparently there is only one person in the entire store who can organise replacements under warranty - Vincent. I eventually spoke to him and he told me he’d sort this out and call me. My wife has really bad back pain so I’ve been trying to chase him all week for a status update. I’ve been continually ignored all week. Eventually once I got through I’d been told he’d gone home and there’s no one else who can help. Won’t be shopping here again.

I received outstanding customer service from Harvey Norman North Ryde last week.i needed an urgent ID photo printing to be able to submit a passport application. But the consulate is strict with the photo type. Nigel not only promptly called me back and checked the printing requirements, he actually printed them within the next 30mns and even stayed later for me to be able to pick them up. Excellent friendly service which is very rare nowadays.

I recently moved to a new premises and I was shopping around for my white goods. I virtually went to all others and I have decided to buy from Harvey Norman @ Domayne North Ryde, one of the main reason is the services by one of the staff name Vincent. He patiently explain to me what is good and bad and even measure the equipment and make sure it will fit my place, and explained the pros and cons and features. He is so knowledgeable compare to other competitor where staff dont even care to explain nor care to serve you. Those others only care to ask are you buying today. For Vincent @ harvey norman he did what he needs to do and as the results of his honesty and sense of responsibility I have decided to purchased all my white goods from him. One more thing I should mentioned is he even called the delivery and warehouse to make sure my goods are delivered on time and get the driver to call me ahead which they did, on his DAY OFF (Vincent day off). I do not think there are many staff out there that will do the extra mile and I am appreciate his service and care for his customer. I have written to the harvey norman management but so far I am not sure they even read or seen my email about Vincent's great work. Anyone out there if you want to get white good do dropby HV @ Domayne North Ryde and look for Vincent. You will know why i care to write this review. I hope the management acknowledge Vincent's great job.
