Definitely the best Harvey Norman I have been to, staff are always helpful to me and my family.

Roger was so helpful when we searched for bathroom items. Not only he identified pros and cons of various bathroom accessories he also helped to ensure items we ordered will be available on time and arranged delivery without any hassle. Roger a valuable staff at Harvey Norman.

I was dreading the prospect of buying a new smart TV. Over the last few weeks I've been talking to a few sales staff in various stores around the inner west but after every conversation I felt more confused than when I walked into the store. Then I met Sonya Allen at Harvey Norman Alexandria. OMG! What an amazing experience. Sonya was able to make complex matters simple and turn obscure jargon into easily digestible language. I asked her a ton of questions all of which she answered with patience, understanding and refreshingly simple language. No hard selling. I'm not sure what the secret sauce is but I reckon stores selling technical goods would double their revenue if their sales staff demonstrated the intelligence, patience and goodwill of Sonya. Needless to say, I will be making my purchase of Smart TV from Sonya and will be following up with a few other computer related items.

Picked up a new up-specced MacBook this morning. Thanks to North and Sonya for their perseverance in getting this in from their supplier. Sonya is a credit to your business. Fantastic attitude and knowledge and she was able to help with some other gadgets I ended up buying as well. I'll be back.

I had a great experience here with Raisa. She attended me immediately, listened to my specific situation, and helped me pick the best equipment for my circumstances. She didn’t try to sell me the most expensive item, or haggle me into buying a more “premium” brand.

I would definitely recommend her and come back specifically to seek her expertise.

Beria was amazing to deal with. She has so much knowledge and patience to share that with you. You feel so confident with her advice that you happily make the purchase with no doubt in your mind. Amazing customer care I received from her! She is now my go to person for all of my projects.

I’ve had two experiences with Sonya in the technology section, both of which have left with nothing but positive words for her. Sonya’s approach to her work is one that should be acknowledged, her desire and dedication to want to help the customer is admirable. She is one that shows care and genuine interest in what the customer wants where both times has significantly helped me with each purchase. I would definitely recommend asking for Sonya’s help if you’re ever in store.

I preordered a product with the promise this was put aside. I drove an hour to collect, and the shop assistant couldn’t find it. When she finally found it and I purchased, she’d placed the wrong receipt in my bag (which I needed for the work claim). Frustrating experience here, would not be keen to come again.

I ordered some heaters for click and collect that the website said we’re in stock at the store. When I went to checkout, I was surprised to see I could collect the same day. About 30 minutes after I get called from Charmaine letting me know the heaters weren’t actually in stock but she could have them for me either a day or two later, I picked them up two days later with no issues at all. Thank you Charmaine for just communicating with me throughout my order process! So refreshing

My wife and I went here to return a defective vacuum cleaner, and she was threatened by one of their staff working in the home appliances, cleaning section.
The guy did so while I was at the front of the store while waiting for her to come out, eventually saying to her “let’s have it out in the carpark, then…”.
It got to the point of him getting so worked up —that one of their other staff needed to intervene out of fears in his words “he continues to escalate”. All because she tried to explain why we wanted to return it?

We left fairly quickly after that, and she was shook for weeks after, especially given how Harvey Norman decided NOT to act on his behaviour alone. They did nothing actively visible and to this day, to our understanding, he still works there.

Our advice don’t go here. We don’t. And we tell everyone we know about this experience.

Harvey Norman looks like it’s on the way out judging from the clear (lack of) management of this store and the plenty of other reviews you can read here, showing this.

Harvey Norman's Samsung device repair drop off point is efficient, has cheerful, helpful staff and is simple to access via the Electrical and computer retail outlet.

Today I had the pleasure of being served by Sean. He understood the current climate of getting appliances and was flexible and innovative in his approach. In short, he went above and beyond to help me with my kitchen needs and made the experience everything you want it to be. Thanks Sean, hope the manager Allen (who was also great) acknowledges your great customer service - I will back.

I have never met a rude sales associate in my life. We had John the “manager” helping us out and when we didn’t put a deposit down he got so angry at us when we asked him to save our products so we can go home and check we had the right measurements for our new house. We would have bought all our products from John and the Alexandra team however due to his behaviour we will now be shopping else where.

Just bought some air-fryer accessories and staff member Darpan was really helpful and I’m really happy with the service

The sales people are very agressive. They push you to purchase something but if you want to change your order or ask any questions they will avoid you at all costs!
