Love this store! Bought Tokyo travel guide and staff member Alex gave us some extra tips about where to eat, very helpful. Definitely recommend this store.

A great place to wander about. Great selection of a variety of books, well layed out and staff that are helpful, but also leave you alone.

Great place to find a jewel among other precious books and gifts. It is a "must visit" when you are around Miranda, NSW.

I often enter this shop purely for therapeutic reasons. Not even to purchase a book. The way the shop is layed out, lighting, decor and structure is so inviting and the staff are always welcoming too. To me there is still something special about a book shop and I highly recommend visiting this place.

There's only one bookstore that I'd say is better than Harry Hartogs, but they seem to cater to a more-Asian crowd - so depending on your culture taste, Hartogs may be the best bookstore in Australia for you! Especially since it has multiple store locations, too!

Hartogs is fantastic and has an amazing variety of books at great prices. I got myself an encyclopedia on flora that was priced only a tiny bit higher than Amazon prices, and a Game Of Thrones Storyboards book that I have not seen anywhere else. Those 2 purchases have blown away my expectations of what an Aussie bookstore can offer - QBD doesn't come close to this! Extremely happy with this store. Became a member and will be back again & again. Wonderful place!

If you are a book lover, you will LOVE this shop! I love, love browsing in here, beautiful books of all kinds and a great gift wares shop too. I buy my friends baby gifts here, my family’s presents too because the products are beautiful here. Totally recommended!

I love this book store, besides having a great selection of books they sell interesting gifts that you won't find many places and have reading from authors as well as a seat or 2 to sit and read

A lovely traditional looking bookshop with a great array of books to look at and choose from. I wish there were more shops like this as I feel it really inspires reading. It loses a star simply because I think it could do with a lovely big seating area for people to sit and read, then it would be perfect!

Was pleasantly surprised to find a children's book reading in session when my daughter and I went into the shop. My daughter had a great time and we will be definitely returning!
