Harris Farm Markets reviews
59Time and time again, incorrect pricing that HFM are so good at, most stores honour it, not this one. Grabbed organic potatoes, only one sort so grabbed it, shelf tag said '$8.99 1.5kg organic sebago', small writing underneath (on samer ticket) said '$5.99/kg', ALL bags stacked on this shelf were 1kg, so I grabbed and headed to the checkout, register scanned $7.49, I mentioned the ticketed advertised price, a second staff member went and checked, a third came back and said "it's the register price", I advised him you have to sell at the advertised ticket price, so if you're bagging them at 1kg, then it should be $5.99 per the ticket, and you shouldn't rip people off, he disagreed. I didn't purchase. All HFMs are notorious for different ticket to register price on many things (mushrooms!). Cammeray two days ago, I piocked up cherry juice, it came up a diff price at the register, young bloke there checked the ticket, agreed, and sold it to me at their ticket price. He kept the ticket, no doubt to change it, which is fine. Willoughby have lost my custom for good. I'll walk further afield and give my business elsewhere. I'm only one person, think of how many people don't check. The cost of living is high enough. A so called 'family business' that's been around for decades is continuing to make money of higher priced produce knowlingly ripping people off, not cool.
I've lived in Drummoyne and have bought groceries from Leichhardt too. In comparison this Market doesn't have the extra benefits such as a fire oven pizzeria or, the fancy Italian Delicatessen where you can grab 140 gr of fresh cut paper thin prosciutto crudo (better priced too).
I didn't see many deals or quick sales, etc.
Willoughby's market yesterday afternoon included sections of wet slippery floors as the staff were mopping, abd and working hard while clients were doing their shopping, filling up their baskets.
Should be more cautious!
I love the bread and organic fruit range they have at this Harris farms. It's located in a good spot, next to a butcher and seafood shop. As well as close to a nice Cafe further down the road!
Only place I get my fresh produce now, if I buy anywhere else it is rotten the next day. Love their extensive range and all the delicatessen type products. You can always find something different and delicious the dinner table, BBQ OR just a yummy snack.
I travel just to visit this place. Their fruit and veg is always fresh but they are not always the cheapest. Combine it with a the Sutcliffe Butcher and Seafood and it because a great location to grab your staples. Free parking at rear.
Really great place to get food, the problem is the parking lot. It’s so small and hard to get out of!
Great local produce market. Much better & fresher than supermarkets. Update - still great quality & superior produce to supermarkets.
They get 5 stars because of the quality on the shelves - best cheese choices- so if you are a "cook" this is your shop.
I have purchased 3 boxes of Kiwi fruits last night but when I opened it and tried it, it has weird smell and not eatable
I kept one box and return other two boxes to Harries Farm in North Willoughby
However, the manager in North Willoughby refused to refund these two boxes and asked me to complaint in Consumer fair if I wish
I felt very disappointment as the regular and royal customer to Harries Farm and was treated like this
I was served by Annabelle and she was awesome! Great service, very helpful, very nice and would definitely come back to Willoughby because of her service
Nice friendly cash register people. I have bought many great things there. I have also bought 8 items on separate occasions that found out when home were off.
Not the best selection, basically no meats. Never enough staff on so always a massive line at check out
Lovely store. I always go to Harris Farm for a quick shop. I would 100% recommend Harris Farm to people who just cant wait for there Woolworths order!
A great fruit and vegie chain. The quality is consistent across all their stores, and they have a huge range including some groceries and dairy.
Good service, fresh fruit and veg.not many baking supplies so recommend going to IGA or Woolies instead if you are looking for that kind of stuff
Produce always top quality even the 'imperfect' range looks good to me. You'll find plenty of specials throughout the store. I would advise to avoid the car park, very scary goings on there. The only negative is be prepared to wait in a queue, watching staff move about doing anything but the check out. If there was a self serve check out, I would use it.
We LOVE these Harris Farm FOLKS! So we're moving even closer to the front door there! To almost-quote a dear friend. "Why are people So Very Kind!? * - Kamahl the staff is Very kind to us, and we're the new neighbours! Thanking you.
Good produce and an excellent butcher. Prices are variable but generally better than the supermarkets.
Love Harris Farm and love this shop in Willighby! Great quality and quantity of local and imported products of the best quality! Their vegan section is one not to miss as well as their fresh juice range! Love their cold pressed juices! All of them! Recommended to everyone and definitely going for more next time we are in Willighby!
I like Harris Farm,
I usually do my shopping form there especially fresh fruit.
Last week my shopping was around $23,
But because of ¢5 short, the customer service rejected all of my stocks,
I took aback, this unprofessional behaviour is shameful for Harris Farm.
I am sorry for Harris farm.
