Harpers Mansion reviews
9Came for the maze but we were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the gardens were (we came during spring in October). Some of the rooms in the mansion was quite interesting and the tour is run by some really lovely people! The maze itself was also fun.
Great place to learn about the history of Berrima, this house and garden highlight Berrima. Remember to stop at Gumnut patisserie for lunch or the surveyor inn, which was owned by the owner of Harper's mansion
Interesting history of Berrima Sutton district. From famiky lwho built surveyor general pub.beauthrestored building.small simple gardens.with maze.volunteers inpart the properties history.
Great piece of history. Although there is not a whole lot to see inside, the gardens and the maze are very nicely maintained to walk around. The original outdoor kitchen no longer exists unfortunately.
Harper's Mansion is closed on Sat 28 and Sun 29 December 2019 and Sat 4 Jan and Sun 5 Jan 2020.

We loved spending the afternoon in the garden. It was so lovely to wonder around looking and smelling all the flowers and winding our way through the maze that Infact, we completely ran out of time to look through the house itself.
My husband loved the maze, my little ones enjoyed the herb garden and I so very much loved sitting down to have lunch under the apple tree. A great stress free afternoon for the whole family.
Thank you to everyone who maintains these beautiful gardens. We've nicknamed it the 'secret magic gardens' and are already planning a return trip with the extended family.
Very friendly guides who were very understanding of the needs of a family with young children. The kids loved the maze
Amazing history of the little town of Berrima. The volunteers are amazung and very informative and the kids loved the maze. Great place to take some beautiful history
We went on a day trip to visit Berrima to see Harpers Mansion and the Maze there. It's a beautiful place with interesting history. The maze was alot of fun. When we were inside the maze there were children running around inside playing tag. The small garden was very well kept. It was $8 for adults upon entry to the property. I've uploaded a photo of the maze (an ariel shot of the maze) for the people to download incase that they get lost in the maze you can find your way out. It's a small maze so it's easy to navigate yourself.
