Efficient and smooth purchase experience
Stewart and Nicole were very helpful assisting me throughout the purchasing process. They were willing to cooperate with me in negotiating the pricing with the owner. Stewart kept me up to date during the whole process until the settlement date.
After the settlement, they successfully locked in the new tenant for me. They really made my purchase stress-free from A to Z.

Holiday rental accommodation for 12 people is expensive and for that cost you expect a few more things like working door locks, bbq, outdoor table and verandah to be clean, apart from that accommodation acceptable.

The Harcourts team manage 3 of my rental properties in Avoca Beach. They have secured me quality tenants very quickly each time a property has been vacated and with minimal downtime.

I have found the communication and feedback to excellent and the staff always make themselves available whenever I need to discuss anything.

I have also purchased a property through Stewart Power in the past and I find him to be extremely trustworthy and honest.

Great experience from start to finish
Stewart was great from the day we went to the viewing. We had asked for a private viewing due to COVID-19 concerns and he took the necessary precautions, something not seen so much in metropolitan Sydney. He was friendly and helpful in giving advice about the area and from his extensive experience working in the industry. The one thing that struck me compared to other viewings is that Stewart didn't try to pressure us, was just honest with the situation and was in contact only if there were necessary updates.

Obviously we hope to be this house for a little while, but if we ever decide to sell and find a new house we'd certainly look to use Stewart for both parts in the future!

Nicole and her team have been incredible from the start. Finding myself having to move during these tougher times was a little stressful, but Nicole was efficient, professional and kind and made the transition into my new little space smooth. After discussion with several agents and a little dejected, I spoke to my son who suggested Harcourts Avoca, as he had a very good experience with Harcourts in a Sydney move. So I did. I spoke to Nicole Jackson, who was lovely, helping and encouraging, and she and her colleague, Stewart Power, called two days later for an inspection and chat, and I was pleased to go with them on a pleasant experience of sale. Nicole was wonderful every step of the way and the house was sold within 4/5 weeks for a good price. Any problems, Nicole found a solution. It has been so easy. Thank you both Nicole and Stewart so much for everything.

Those at Harcourts presented as being kind and professional, however there were issues with the reading and interpretation of my lease. I would sincerely urge anyone entering into a legal agreement fully understand it personally, with the help of a third party. It took me going to Fair Trading to have the agents understand my lease properly. I do not want anyone else to have the same issues I had. Do not take any legal interpretations from the agents, ensure you have a solicitor or fair trading explain it to you if there are any questions you have. I was correct in my interpretation and the agents were not. I almost paid thousands out of pocket, however insisted on checking with fair trading to which I was told I was correct.
