Happyfield reviews
46I had heard about this place but never tried it. Decided to venture here for brekkie which they are known for - we had the mclovin muffin, eggs & toast, hashbrowns, ham & cheese toastie & short stack of pancakes. Standout was the mclovin muffin with the chicken patty - so tasty & moreish, dare I say better than maccas! Hashbrowns came out like how it should be - hot, crispy & savoury. Went on a weekday morning so place was buzzing but not too long of a wait for a table. Friendly service, casual atmosphere with splashes of the happy-yellow colour to boost your serotonin:)
Great food, great ambience, and great service! There is always a bit of a wait to get a table, so make sure you come a little earlier.
The serving sizes are quite generous, so I like sharing dishes so I can try different things.
Food is average coffee, although very well presented is very weak even as a double shot place is lovely
Still trying to figure out what all the hype is about
I have had the delicious pancakes there before and the “happiest meal” is really delicious! This time I wanted to try something different and it was also incredibly delicious so you really cannot go wrong with their amazing menu. Kids cheeseburger also got a thumbs up from my little dude so it’s a Sydney must try!
Bright and fun brunch spot in the middle of Haberfield.
Expect a wait for a table, as it's popular! Luckily we went mid week which was fine, but they have a limit of 1hr on tables.
Enjoy an espresso coffee or a smoothie, and all the fun brunch items.
Pancakes were a favourite! You can get a sweet stack (with strawberries and creme) or savoury (with eggs and bacon - topped with cinnamon sugar) and maple syrup.
The egg sandwiches and eggs with sides were a popular option too.
Second time here. Got the "The Happiest Meal" again and it did not disappoint, the McLovin muffin is seriously something else. Came around 8am on a weekday as I know they can get really busy. Staff are friendly and service was great. Definitely coming back!
Yum yum yum! Loved the pancakes. Wait time on weekends not great tho but a busy place makes for less availability:)
Chef Jesse is incredible! I haven’t been back home in 4 years and the eggs taste just like how my dad makes them. Everything tastes like Canada:)
Get your Drippy on! Amazing venue with a great vibe. Would highly recommend anything on the menu (without even trying everything) however my favourite is The Happiest Meal. You gotta give this a solid shot. Especially if you like good things. That said, the staff were just as good! Super friendly and helpful. If you like happiness, you’ll like Happyfield!
The crab omelette on sourdough with XO sauce is bomb. You can’t really taste the crab itself that strongly, but once you put the XO sauce (a seafoody, chilli paste), it really brings the flavour out
Nice place and good food, service was great just not sure it was worth wait but it was expected so it is what it is, would go back if I got lucky enough not to need an hour wait
Downs: 10% surcharge so be careful and long waits
Ups: good food and prompt friendly service
Edit response: so pay them more why charge extra to the customer?
Good experience! Just Waited about 15 minutes to be able to have breakfast at 9am and enjoy the theme of the place.fish fillet burger Food and coffee was delicious both delicious. The staff are also really friendly.
Today I watched a vision impaired man attempt to navigate and walk past your cafe & I am disgusted by the lack of consideration and simple common courtesy that the staff and your customers displayed. He bumped into serveral people who didnt apologise, move or offer support and your staff pushed past him at one point and then ordered him to move out of their way! The way groups of people gather on the corner is unacceptable & dangerous for not only the vision impaired but also disabled or elderly. I have reported this to council. Your business is part of a fantastic community, you should be doing better!
Had my birthday breakfast here.
If I could give 10 stars I would!
The service and the vibe even the music is on point!
They brought out a birthday candle on my poached chicken all the staff smiling
So welcoming and just made my morning!
Highly recommend the “Happiest Meal” the pancakes are so delicious, the McLovin Muffin is on point and hash browns are my fave!
I had an delicious Golden juice aswell!
Hit all the spots
Dear Happyfield. We you.
Menu item request: Rose syrup/rosewater lemonade
Menu faves: toast with bacon and eggs and burgers. You guys are so yum!
(But pretty pretty please rosewater lemonade please and thank you)
I love breakfast foods so this place holds a special place in my heart? I recommend any menu item that has pancakes. Their McMuffin and baked eggs are pretty average though. They do an awesome French toast and oats porridge but sadly that’s seasonal. If it wasn’t for the lines I’d come weekly
Also can u guys bring back the French toast back PLEASEEEEEEE
Buzzing, casual ambience. Extensive and delicious brunch/lunch menu. Staff vibrant, enthusiastic and really friendly. Great dining experience.
Everything about Happyfield is joyful. Perfectly balanced ambiance, brilliant team running the floor and genuinely the best pancakes in Sydney.
Went along with two infants and the staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Great food and coffee too.
