Halifax Painting : House Exterior, Interior , Commercial, Strata Buildings

We recently contracted Halifax to paint our 4 storey apartment building and driveway at Dolls Point.

From the very first meeting with Bill, we found him to be professional, warm, and engaging and a great communicator.

All questions or concerns about the work to be undertaken were answered and Bill encouraged you to call him should any issue arise during the project.

The painting of the building and the driveway was to be carried out over a two-week period but with impending rain and road resurfacing in the second week Bill’s team worked tirelessly to finish the work in one week.

A shout out to Jay and his crew for an excellent job and keeping us informed every step of the way. Most owners are in their senior years and Jay was courteous and very respectful of their needs during the process.

Bill expects quality workmanship from his crew and the result is a testimony of their skills and diligence. He is also a family man and treats his clients as family so the client’s satisfaction is very important to him.

On Bill’s final inspection of the work, he said ‘if any issues arise in the future or you have any concerns just give me a call, I will always be here’. That genuineness and honesty is rare in business these days so thank you Bill.

The strata committee and residents are extremely happy with the wonderful ‘facelift’ Halifax has given our building and driveway and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

No job was too big for Bill and the team which included painting of the entire interior of the home, repair of the subfloor, new hybrid flooring and skirting boards and blocking off an open archway to create extra bedroom space. I can highly recommend the services of Halifax and in particular the exceptional customer service of Director, Bill Hamed.

After an arrangement with another local painting company fell through, I contacted Bill about the job I needed done. Within the next few hours, Bill had confirmed a timeframe and estimate for the work I needed completed. My husband and I were moving into our newly-purchased villa and needed to time the renovations accordingly so we could book removalists and move into the property.

The services of Halifax extend much further than the paining which I originally booked. After my husband and I realised the property needed a lot more work than just the internal painting, Bill also organised the floor boards to be sanded and polished, a few electrical items to be tweaked and gave us a great recommendations for a local plumber and window furnishing company, which we also engaged for further work around the home. Using the services of Halifax is like a one stop shop for everything that you could possibly need when it comes to home renovations, no matter how big or small the job.

Bill and the team were very flexible with additional requests that I had during the project, and kept me informed with regular updates on progress. Bill also provided expert advice and recommendations which helped guide my decision making process (eg choice of paint colours, finishes, etc).

The quality of the workmanship was outstanding - the team who painted the villa (Jay and another team member) were fantastic - prompt, hard working, trustworthy, friendly, respectful and they took great pride in their work. They worked incredibly hard during the (long!) days at the property and made sure all of the little details were taken care of (such as ensuring parts of ceiling were patched after our electrician had finished, walls prepped properly, old shelves removed from walls and patched, power point covers and light switches removed before painting, hooks removed from the backs of doors etc). I honestly could not fault a single thing with the work carried out - and I have very high standards! The renovations have really elevated the look and feel of our new home and my husband and I couldn't be happier.

Working with Bill and the team at Halifax was an absolute delight. They made everything fuss-free and simple, which gave me peace of mind and freed up my time so I could concentrate on other things relating to the move.
