We stayed in the 3 bedroom house near reception and it was PERFECT! The house was amazing and has everything you need! With huge living areas and extremely comfy beds. There's even a back gate that opens up and you're right at the beach entrance.
The location couldn't be better!

Recently had 3 nights in this exceptional park on a powered site. Amenities are top standard and spotless. Loved the location. Reception staff were excellent and super friendly esp Sharne who did our booking also the lovely manager. Will certainly recommend this park and hopefully will return next year for a longer stay.

Lovely little neighbourhood cafe with amazing coffee, lovely smiles & delicious food. Muffaletta is a must try as are the coffees. The banana bread had nice chunks of macadamia but I would recommend order off the menu.

Noisy large groups allowed to let rip told by office to ring security who will only attend after 10 pm. Once office closes at 5pm campers are at the mercy of party goers. If you want an all night party weekend packed with drum kit, guitar & singing book here.

Great caravan park. Heaps of room and excellent amenities. It's situated between two beaches and within walking distance from the shops. Definitely worth a visit

Very nice place to stay nothing was hard when I called up to ask questions and even to book a extra person to stay with us.
The toilet block was very clean and one of the best we have seen so far in our short travels.

We will be stopping in again next trip to the bay.

Although the park is dog friendly the beaches are not. Not even on a leash. So sadly the park had a lot to offer but with furbabys not beable to exercise around the area, we won't be going here again.

What a wonderful place to stay!
By far this would be the best park we've stayed at for friendly service and facility cleanliness. Great location to the beach for peaceful walks and fishing (if the wind is blowing the right direction). We felt that because of the social environment there, other guests were very friendly too unlike the mood at other parks.
Well worth a stay here fellow nomadian's.

Beatiful holiday park.

Easy access to the beach and within easy driving distances to all major attractions.

Entrance into the toilets is more like a hotel lobby.

Although many many people struggle with the lock system in the toilets.

The other slight downside is the sites are a bit tightly packed. Takes a bit of maneuvering to get into them.

But it is dog friendly and boasting huge moderm kitchen with an outdoor area.

Great park.

Tremendous location, excellent van park and extremely clean and maintained, great newish amenities, double concrete slabs on most sites, ocean one side and bay the other side, good swimming and boating / fishing either side, park terenced and all sites level and good sized. Good bike riding around district. My only complaint about Nelson Bay is there is no provision for push bike parking in town and all car parking is expensive, luckily there is a major shopping centre not far away with free parking.

It’s a beautiful location and one of my favourite places. Been twice now, it’s a great park. No pool but with the beaches close by it’s great if you have older kids

Yes it is a good location with clean and newish ammenities but for a caravan it has a few set backs. The space for manoeuvring an even small van is very limited. On our stay it was far from full but with just a few vans nearby even experienced vaners had difficulty getting in and out of their allocated park. The roads in the park are literally the width of a caravan. The second major draw back is the price. $70 a night just forces you to move on. As we found not many would stay more than two nights. When will these parks realise they do themselves out of business with their ridiculous fees.
