10/10, salon is amazing, the piercings are very professional highly recommend, they also have the best retail stock for all hair types. Love this shop, one of the hairhouse warehouse shops I've been too! The girls there are all so helpful and welcoming, especially Ella!

The customer service and knowledge of Mariam was amazing! This isn’t my usual store, but definitely will be coming here a lot more because of Mariam! Amazing work!

Check their prices guys! They charge you for the products that you do not even buy and refuse to refund because they are franchise and this is how they work! Ridiculous! No wonder why this place has three stars! Dodgy business! Stay away from them!

Nat is amazing! I went in and saw Nat after a hairdresser had botched my blonde colour, I called Nat the same day and she got me in and fixed up my colour all within a few hours. Nat was incredibly professional and very polite! Could not recommend her highly enough!

Do not get piercings at any hair house. Very uneven, poorly done lobe piercings and staff in denial about it. Was treated terribly and blamed for the poor job when I raised my unhappiness. Refused refund, had to pay to have them re done some where else.

Daughter’s Nose piercing fell out so we went to the closest Hairhouse store having previously been charged $5 at Hornsby store with great service. Like Hornsby my daughter also used her own ring. This time however she was charged $55, the explanation being that each store charges differently - clearly in this case being 11 times as much - & a reference to sanitisation. She was in and out in 3 minutes. Don’t use this store unless you want to be charged such exorbitant prices

Customer service 0.the cashier (asian guy) was sooo rude to us for asking a question twice lol i went in to get a few piercings but came out with nothing because of the way cashier was treating me.the least they can do is to be nice to their customers

My mum had her hair dyed here by Sarah, and I had hair extensions done here by Antonio. We both cannot believe how good our results are.
I highly recommend this place and I will definitely go back there myself again.

I got my nose piercing on a Friday. By a lovely girl (I’m sorry I can’t remember your name). She was friendly, efficient and professional. The piercing and jewellery was $180 which I thought was pretty hefty, but I was assured that they only use the best German quality jewellery. Two days later I had my piercing accidentally knocked and it had swelled up. I phoned hairhouse warehouse and was provided with Michelle’s (the manager) number. She advised me to go to the store immediately to put in a loop as the piercing wound has opened up and the stud might fall out. I was then served by Miriam, also very lovely and polite. There was an issue with putting the piercing back in after being re-pierced. Miriam tried about 7-8 times and it was pretty damn painful. After no success and a bloodied nose hole, I was advised to let the piercing heal and come back on Thursday to get it re-pierced. I arrived today and was served by Michelle. Initially she was going to charge me $65 for the re-piercing, but I didn’t agree with it. Given the circumstances, I was at fault for having the piercing swell up and I was happy to pay for the re piercing if it could have been done by Miriam. But this could not be completed and I had to come back out of my own convenience. After expressing my concerns, Michelle was happy to not charge me for the piercing and jewellery and I left a happy customer. Would’ve been a 5 star experience had I not had to negotiate not paying for the re-piercing. Thank you to the staff.

Absolutely horrible and nasty people. Judging me by my appearance. And also my family.
I will never purchase anything from here anymore. I’ve been in this industry for 19 years and I’m horrified at the staff of hairdressers and retail staff.
Disgusting that it’s because of people like this customer’s lack faith in the rest of us regardless of what we look like.

I would never recommend anyone to this store ever!
I will not name and shame.

I feel really judged by the staff when I go in there. I understand that they’re professionals but if I want to buy a product they shouldn’t bully and undermine me into not getting it. I got my nose piercing done here and it was incredibly overpriced. I recommend piercing pavilion for piercings. But on a positive note, they have a wide range of hair products available.

I took my six years old daughter to HairHouse at Top Ryde for an ear piercing. I asked if they could do the air piercing simultaneously for two ears (which everywhere does). Surprisingly the shop owner said it would be $15 extra as she had to call another staff to come and do it with her. I could see two other staff were not busy and the whole work didn't even take more than five minutes. I just felt the owner was taking advantage of parents because she knew most parents would pay. People are still suffering from covid and now inflammation. Because of $15, the owner lets kids suffer from anxiety if the parents refuse to pay extra. Felt so bad for the kids who go there!

The worst experience I have ever had in my life.
The manager is rude and condescending and I wasn’t even asking for a refund.
What should have been a pleasant experience turned out to be so stressful, I asked if the mistake on my hair could be rectified and they didn’t even want to do that.
The owner was just as brutal, save yourself the $$ and time because the cost doesn’t mean quality.

Thank you for the opportunity to write a review. I recently made a second appointment for highlights with Paul, who charged $300 for this previously, which included a blow dry. I requested a quote on how much the highlights would cost without the blow-dry. Paul was unable to provide this information & proceeded to tell me "that he'd need to see my hair first". This seemed very evasive, as the highlights were the same as the previous visit. Paul was very rude, condescending and unprofessional. I would not recommend this salon, and have never been treated so poorly by a hairdresser before. It is hard to fathom how this behaviour is tolerated.

The place is a shambles!
I had to keep my appointment today as I was notified very late that both my usual and (might I add) excellent hair dresser (Maddie) and her sister had left with no reason being given.
I put my trust in the person covering and he did not do a bad job.
Except I was charged extra (without notice) for a treatment that had been part of my service for at least 2 years!
When I questioned it, I was told that was why Maddie was no longer working there and this was the standard price for what I had been getting! I might add that the price was already much higher than my previous hairdresser and the explanation had been that it was BECAUSE of said treatment!
In the process, Paul (who has to have the worst customer service!) raised his voice at me on a number of occasions and almost accused me of lying, when I said I had been receiving the treatment routinely at the usual fixed price!
No wonder they are in the shape that are; I am not going back there and I’m sure that applies to many others!

This place is disgusting. The behavior of the piercer the one that’s bald with shaved eyebrows, is appalling. Extremely rude. Take your money elsewhere. It’s a shame because the owner is actually really nice and has now lost a customer because of there piercer. Looking at the reviews it seems that a lot
Of people feel the same way about this place. If you want a chance to get customers back Sak the piercer! A girl a Priceline told me the same thing about her RUDE!

Honestly such an underrated place.the lady that washed my hair was so helpful in helping me find a shampoo for my hair type and she gave me heaps of samples as well.antonio did an amazing job in giving me a haircut and it looks so pretty.everyone in this place deserves a big smooch

Went to get my 1st haircut there. The hairstylist was rude. Not only he was talking to another customer sitting in the chair next to us while cutting my hair. It seems he didnt really want to cut my hair his attitude towards me shows that he would rather have a chit chat/gossip with other clients. Bad customer service I wanted to get out of there quickly. Paid $160 and not returning due to this rather awful experience.

Terrible. Walked in for a trim on wednesday. My hair is all one length. Was told by the male hairdresser that I was not allowed to hold or look my phone if I wanted him to cut my hair. I obliged. He then dry cut my hair. Total of 7 snips for the trim. He then grabbed the hair-dryer and started blow-drying my already dry hair. I asked him not to as there was no product in it and could potentially damage my hair. He didn't take kindly to that. Abruptly asked if I was happy even though he did not show me the back with a mirror, ripped the Cape off me then stormed to the register where he then charged me $45. Worst 6 and a 1/2 minutes in a hairdressing salon (I use this term loosly) ever. And to top it off the cut is not straight!

Went with my friend to get her helix pierced extremely over priced for the service and jewellery provided wasn’t allowed to wait with her due to covid so i waited outside the piercing “studio” with another one of my friends we were looking at hair stuff and an employee came up to us and said we weren’t allowed to look around because he thought we were stealing and as a women of colour it felt extremely profiling cause he didn’t go up to any other white person in the store and another one of my friends went in for a septum piercing and they pierced it in the cartilage and still charged over $100 would never recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy

edit- I went again to get my rook pierced and i actually had a good experience still doesn't make up for my last experience but if you were to go I would recommend michelle shes a great piercer and is very kind and calming
