I am 62yrs old and I have never written a review, but I am utterly disappointed.
I've had my hair done many times for many years - I have never ever encountered service like this before, nor been charged the amount I was charged (which is double the amount I pay anywhere else).
I went to the hairdressers for a change, & to have my regrowths done. Stylist of the name Sarah whom is apparently the manager/owner was my stylist this day - I shown her a photograph of what I wanted, to which she replied "that colour will make you look old", and then proceeded to do only the back of my hair the same colour that I already had. Did NOT touch my regrowths.
So not only did I pay double, I didn't pay for what I asked/wanted, & walked out with the same regrowths I walked in with.

So.because I was so unhappy, and felt ripped off, I called 3x leaving a message for Sarah to call me, on the forth call she finally answered to respond saying, "if I want a recolour and regrowths done, I need to pay an additional $150.

Ladies, save your money and time, and do not go here

I came with my mother for her full head colour. She was very excited and nervous as well.it is really good experience. She is served by Chloe. I would say Chloe is so good at her skills and good with her communication.

I've been going Sarah and the team at Hairhouse Warehouse for the last 6 years and i've always left feeling fabolous! My hair always looks and feels incredible when i've been there! I never thought anyone could manage my long thick hair but Hairhouse Warehouse can! I highly recommend getting your hair done with them! Thanks Sarah and the rest of the team for always being so freindly and always doing sucha fantastic job with my hair!

This place is horrible! I used to go here all the time for the basics wash trim and style had Tayla do it and it came out perfect and I always had amazing service however the business has now changed and on Saturday I had my hair “done” not only was my hair not washed properly I was left with it dripping down my back while my stylist was in the back opening up birthday presents with the manager.my hair took 2 hours and 15 mins for a wash trim and curl and I had to cancel a appointment I had for later that day because of this. I was then included in a conversation between my stylist and another about how they had no shows all day which is very unprofessional. Finally when my hair was done I copped a 130$ charge when it used to be 85$! I obviously copped the overcharge because of the lost revenue from the no shows that day. I rang to speak to the manager about this and before I talked to the manager I confirmed with the girl that answered how much my treatment should have been which was quoted 85$ I then talked to the manager Sarah, I have never been spoken to the way she spoke to me she overtalked me the whole time and screamed on the phone at me and tried to tell me they charge by hour and that I must have been undercharged every-time I’ve been and then hung up. The treatment I’ve had here is disgusting and I will not be going back and have told friends and family to stay away! Absolutely pitiful and they should be ashamed about how they treat customers and clients.

Went in to get my ears re-pierced, thought it was a little strange that the girl didn't show me after doing it and didn't realise until I got home that she had not only put in very different earrings to what I had selected (tiny, pink studs vs large blue ones I had selected) she also pierced one ear very close to the edge of my ear lobe, no way near the centre. The website makes it look like a far more professional piercing venue than it is, given my piercing was so straightforward I would really hesitate going to them for anything.

I got my 18month old little girls ear pierced here and the lady was amazing she done it so quick. I was worried about my little girl crying and it was the other way round
Very good customer service and clearly very good at her job, I would Recommend to anyone.

Awesome service and the lovely lady who cut both mine and my daughters hair is absolutely amazing. She really knows what she is doing. She did a lovely wolfcut on my daughters curly hair and it looks amazing.

This hairdressers has a huge a selection of hair products. However, I was made to feel like a criminal (with staff hovering over me the entire time) and subsequently left the store without making purchases I would have otherwise made. To be fair, I've never had my hair done here.

No good customer service and I need staffs should be trained of how they should talk and behave to customers and treat all customers equal and fair

I had a very bad experience this morning

I booked appointment for 10 am this morning for hair colour, was and blow dry. It was a long appointment the staff said that they need atleast one and half hour atleast when I booked.when I arrived at 9.50 this morning with my kids, they said I was 20 mins late and my appointment was at 9.30. The Girl named Hayley said that I would have got a reminder message. But I checked my phone. I didn't even received any reminder message a that my appointment was at 9.30 if it was changed for some reason. No idea. Theu said they send me a message with. She told me straight away that I had to go and come back another day I asked I have a long appintmet for 1 and half hour atleast and if they can do some service atleast as its christmas day and I need to attend an event. They said they can't seve me at all. She started showing her appointments in computer and said that she has another customers to seve and I need to leave. She talked so rude and she was cutting me off in each and every sentence I was trying to say. She also said, she is the only one working today and they have so many appointments. Another customer came in to the shop and she talked to her about me and told me which was really embarrassing. I requested her of I can wait and she can serve me in atleast for some service my appointment time I booked. She told me infront of that custoner that that I should go away from shop as her customer can't relax. So rude. I asked her why that customer is important and why I am not. How can she talk to me like that infront of another customer. Am I not valued here? Why she didn't treat me in the same way she was treating another customer.she called the security for me. I saw also the 3 of the staffs talking and smiling each other while all these happening. While I was discussing with security of what was happening, another staff member came and told the security to move infront of their shop as they have other customers coming in. I don't know the reason why those 3 staffs grouped up and attacked a customer who just wanted to get her hair done on a christmas day can they simply say and apology and say that they dont have time to do, even if I am late. Can they just asked me to wait or offer some services even if I am late. Why they had to ruin the good say of people? Why cant they treat everyone equal and fair. May be having a bad day. God knows.

But anyway, later when security asked her, she called her manager and then came back and said they can do my service. I thanked and said I dont want anymore treatment from this salon after humiliating me infront of my kids and in front of other customer. I asked the full name of the staff to write an official complaint. But she didn't give. But thankfully provided with first name. I mentioned to them that they should not behave to customers in this way. There are many better ways they can talk. I am wruting this here so atleast general public would be aware if this issue and would be taking this as no one should be treated like this way when they go for their self care to services like this.

Ever since finding Sarah’s salon, I’ve never looked back. The way she runs the shop, it feels like your sitting amongst a big family. They’re all so passionate and focused.
Sarah has trained some of the staff from a young age and have grown to be an asset.
So if you want a salon to look after you like a family member and who NEVER over promises and undelivers. Come here.

Really awful staff and business practices at Hairhouse Queanbeyan. Staff push products that are not wanted (and wont take no for an answer), refuse refunds that are allowed under Australian consumer law, have temper tantrums and scream at customers, and abuse people for absurd reasons (like handing in a phone found on a shelf in the store!) Something very odd is going on at this store - the staff are often very pushy, very rude or hysterical.

I love going to this salon, the owner Sarah and her staff are so lovely and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble and they are always open and honest about my expectations versus what is actually possible. We always have a laugh and a chat, they always get my color spot on, and are amazing with my hair extensions. Shout out to Saku (I do hope that I spelled your name correctly), she does my hair on point every time and is so friendly and professional.

I had an appointment for 12pm and quoted $120 for regrowth colour and dry off. They made me wait till 12: 45 before the dye got put in my hair, when it was time to leave she told me the dry off was an extra $15 and sent me out with soaking hair! Never heard of this in my life!

Sarah has always been amazing.
I like to do my own hair at home and Sarah has always given me the best advice and right products to do it.
The whole team are friendly and always inviting.
