Gymea Miranda Bowling & Sports Club reviews
49You urgently need to cater for summer and put some sort of cooling system on the decking or fans? You have heaters for winter but it's very unpleasant to sit out there in the summer you get turned off going to the club if that is the only seating you'll have left in the summer Thank you
Easy atmosphere.
Staff and patrons are all friendly.
Food is good and reasonably priced.
Generous meal sizes, reasonable prices and lots to choose from. Friendly and helpful staff.
The food is consistently good and the staff are so friendly.
It's no wonder the place is packed every night.
Great facility but we had a unpleasant experience with front desk staff whilst trying to enter. We had just signed up as members and won't be returning. Shame
The food and beverages are priced as you would expect. The menu on selection is exceptional. My only issue is the acoustic noise when the place is busy, which can be overwhelming.
Have visited on multiple occasions for meals and always found them to be fresh, tasty and cooked quickly. Kitchen staff are happy to adjust meals to cater for dietary requirements on request. Fast service and reasonable selection of beverages at the bar. Can get quite busy so pays to book ahead if you can.
Went there with a group of avout 30 friends. The downstairs dining and bar ar3a was great and there was plenty of free parking. I had no idea that lawn bowls was so much fun!
I ordered a Cheese Burger Meal. The bread was very thin and broke too easily, and the burger itself was poorly presented. The chips make me feel ill, after eating just a few I had to stop. They were deep yellow like a pumpkin customer service was wonderful but very disappointed with my food, others looked great.
Heart breaking experience! No salt no pepper no sauce, ask for a tray for the five plates of food and staff tell you NO and walk off like your a gronk!
Don’t recommend just that alone was enough for me to not want to come back
Great food, friendly service. It's lovely to see the outside with large glass windows
Good meals fair price plenty of seating just member its best to book a table as pretty busy
The food was tasty. The portion sizes were good. Price was reasonable. The eye fillet was cooked as requested.
Venue wasn't very clean when we arrived.
There were vegetables and chips spread on the floor around our table.
Would have liked the area to be clean prior to us arriving at our booked time. Crumbs are understandable, but whole chips and vegetables could be swept up.
They were strict on the seating time, with staff reminding us to order our meals quickly, and also reminding us to leave. After ordering, the food took around 45 minutes to arrive. People who ordered after us received their meals before us.
There was plenty of parking. The parking area is shared with the Tradies club.
Noisy stress atmosphere on Raffel hour nite.ordered seniors meal flathead very poultry for 15$. Veges were palatable not too raw like elsewhere patio was escape bit chilly.
The girls at the register and food pick up (the lady with the pink hair and short hair) provided such an amazing service on Sunday night. I couldn’t believe it considering how busy they were. They were handing out dishes and taking orders like mad. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed - food was also amazing as usual. Girl at the front desk was friendly too! Love coming here
The view is stunning and the staff were friendly, will be bringing my friends back for a wine & dine
A great club sitting out on the terrace
Enjoying a drink and a great meal on a beautiful night
My family had a horrible experience a week ago, as was booked in to dine at their restaurant, which we used to dine at every week, but were turned away due their medical apartheid policy. Nothing was mentioned about this discriminatory policy on either Mike’s Grill or Gymea Bowls website’s. Even Tradies next door have removed this disgraceful policy! When speaking to the manager about it, his last words to me before walking away were ‘it’s up to you to get vaccinated’!
We will NEVER return to this Club!
Sadly water damaged on the day I went. I’m
Sure it will all be repaired in time. Hopefully they fix all the pot holes in the car park.
