Gyeong Bok Gung Korean BBQ Restaurant

Food was a hit and miss, some of the cuts particularly the wagyu beef was not consistent. Some were chewy and had a lot of tendons in it while others were tender. The pork was a lot better with the cut being more fatty and had very good texture.

There is a large selection of cooked foods and also vegetable/ side dish station.

I've been to a couple of bbq buffet places, even ones more expensive than this, but this is pretty worth it for me compared to others. Not all the meat pieces I like, but the thinly sliced marinated wagyu and pork are very good and I ended up eating quite a lot.

Hot food and dessert variety is limited, but if you're mainly there for the meat, I'd still recommend it.

Edit: should have expected it but they have min 2 ppl per table, which is bad for solo diners like myself. I've been to other bbq buffet places that allow solo diners, so I'm surprised they would rather have an empty place than allow a solo diner in. I was there Monday night not long after they opened and there was no one there.

I went here after a friend recommended it as a new BBQ eatery.
So glad I took their advice! As with standard BBQ buffets, this was $49 all you can eat in 90 mins. With penalties if you waste anything! Which I think is a great idea as the food is well supervised and dishes are replenished regularly. You won't miss out! The price as mentioned, is already good, so we attacked the buffet. The pre cooked dishes were excellent, along with a selection of deep fried vegetables, also delicious. All the traditional sauces were available and the salad bar had all the trimmings a traditional BBQ house should have. The selection of items to BBQ was great. In particular the marinated pork was absolutely sensational. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a very cute place to eat with good service and great food at a fabulous price. I'll be going back!

The level of food has dropped a lot. All the seasoned meat tastes like the same sour condiment. There are not many kinds of meat. It's hard for the service to score. When I asked him to change it because the fire was weak, the boss didn't look good, and he said it was because we didn't know. Eventually, he changed it, but the owner's expression wasn't good until the end. I think there's a rule where you have to eat in an hour and a half. If the heat is low, the meat will cook slowly, and we can't eat much and have to leave when the time comes. The picture is of changing the grill twice in an hour. General comment: Don't even go once.a waste of money

Really busy all you can eat korean restaurant that serves good wagyu (not high grade wagyu) beef.

A good range of choices of dishes found here, there was even pizza and pumpkin soup.

The best part was the wagyu beef (unmarinated) was tender and really good, however, they ran out half way and didn't refill the shelf for over 20-30minutes which ate into our time.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but we almost got burned by them carrying around the hot charcoals through the tiny walkways, becareful.

One thing we didn't like was we were given 90 minutes, but they didn't set our charcoal grill until like 30minutes after seating so we wasted so much time, not happy about that.

Overall, the food is good but the service of the food refill and setting customers up with the grill was bad.

The best Korean BBQ buffet ever. Everything is so fresh and REALLY delicious.
The Taste 100% i feeling i was in korea. Im not Korea but i know the korean Food taste so much because my husband is Korea and i love korean Food so much.
The Service from Owner 100% is the best, truely good Service.

This place is great! Staff are always so nice and welcoming. Selection of food and meats are great and the vibe is always nice. This is our go to spot if we ever crave any Korean BBQ. I only wish they had some steamed egg pot as well, but still love this place regardless. Definitely recommend!

First KBBQ experience, and it was fantastic. Fresh, clean and the zero-waste aspect was appreciated. Quick service when changing grills. Waiter took time to share a few laughs and was friendly. Would recommend, worth every cent.

Meat & chicken seasoning was poor,
Very limited Fruits, one icecream tub. No sweets.they only sell the idea of having the BBQ on your own table.

Really enjoyed our night here. Very friendly staff, very clean facilities, lots of variety of meat and salads and foods. The grills on our personal barbecues were Changed regularly. The meat was delicious. The restaurant was very spacious, and we didn’t feel crowded at all. Being a buffet setting you could eat as little or as much as you liked.

Good range of meat to select from. Good cuts as well.
The hot food wasn't too nice.
Side dishes was great and a good range of lettuce.

I love Korean BBQ and this is the best of all worlds. It's clean, a lot of variety, they change the cooking plate often and you can choose what you want to eat. Heaven!

Amazing place, i come here weekly and everytime it is great! The staff are lovely and they have a good range of meats and sides. The quality of the meat is really good aswell! Its $40 PP and there is a time limit of 1.5 hours. (they will write the time that you will have to leave by on a card so you can keep track.) I absolutely love this place, probably my favourite kbbq to go too!

Decent price for a wide selection of BBQ meat, side dishes and vegetables. Staff are friendly and the place are spacious and clean.

The price on their website is different to what they charges. When this was pointed out they did not even apologise. The 90 minute time limit makes it hard to enjoy a meal with friends and the $15 charge for any food not eaten means you’re reluctant to try or experience new things! Pick somewhere else!

Traditional Korean Cuisine! Not many places in Aus does this type of dining! Definitely worth trying! And the price is also great!

The staff Christina was really nice and helpful. The foods are very nice when i went there with my friends!
