GYC Mower Depot Castle Hill

First time visitor to the Castle Hill store today. The people were excellent - every one that I spoke with and helped me - and they were busy. So impressed, that I persisted with finding a way to thank them via this feedback. I have now locked away in my mind that if/when I need anything for my yard, I go to GYC at Castle Hill - I want you to know (reaffirm) that what you are doing is the basis of doing good business. As it happens, I will tell others in the local area - that's how it goes. Keep up the great work!

I walked into the shop. Saw what I needed. I went to the guy behind the counter who was only too helpful to assist me with the equipment. It was a very pleasant experience.

Had a great experience at the GYC Castle Hill store when purchasing commercial grade equipment for our gardening & cleaning business. Team was very helpful and insightful. We had a question in the following days and they were easy to communicate with to solve this for us. Thank you

Very nice and friendly staff, went to a lot of trouble finding the right chainsaw blade for me.

I orinally took my whipper snipper in for a service, they didn't service my one referred me to a place in Toongabbie, after visiting that store it want worth fixing, they recommended a 4 stroke Honda one so I went back to castle hill to purchase because of the original service I received from the lady in your store, I purchased it today only to find out the lady at your store it was her last day. Her customer service was outstanding, what a loss to your company and castle hill store.

The Castle- hill GYC shop offered choice of good brand Lawn movers and other tools.

Jae answered all my questions, which helped my decide given my situation. I was wondering why I didn't know about GYC before would have saved me hours.

I selected my Honda 19 inch Buffalo, good pricing. Jae filled the oil, showed me how to start, how to clean, and the also helped load the Buffalo to my car. In less than an hour I had already moved the lawns. What else do I want. Thanks guys.

Wonder why would any one buy from a warehouse, when you can get a fully set, tunned and tested mover from a Specialist shop, with experts. Should something go wrong, am confident they will help me out; I checked their workshop was bigger than the showroom.

Am happy I went to GYC Mover depot.

It is quite peaceful. The staff was friendly and patient. However, I expected more enthusiasm in terms of providing information and details for explaining technical matters assisting me with a good choice.

My wife and I walked into the Castle Hill store and started to look around at all the great looking products. Within a minute a salesman asked me if I needed any help. Long story short is I was directed to the correct hedge trimmer for me and my wife, and oil and fuel can. The staff member showed me all about the stihl unit and I left the shop a happy man. Thank you, you now have a another regular customer!

Always good service the men always will help what ever you ask them and that's good because I have no idea I do the lawns and gardens and they do my machines

I went in to GYC at Castle Hill in early February and ordered a Honda self-drive mower. The salesman told me three weeks delivery. After six weeks I rang to see when I might get my mower that I paid a deposit for and I was offered a refund. I was then told that I would get the mower in May. It is now June and when I last rang I was told another three weeks. If you judge customer service by how the dealer keeps you informed then I would avoid GYC as they have not contacted me since they took my deposit in February.

Called into store on Saturday to pick up a grass edger for a warranty repair.
The employee who served me was hopeless. No smile, no hello. Just gave me the bill and when I paid it, he just walked away not saying anything.
I just said ok and thanks and left.
This guy shouldn't be dealing with customers. He has no customer skills, and treats customers poorly.
I won't be coming back

Incompetent & rude service. Will not go here again. Service was good when Steve & John were there. From what they told me when they were there about how dodgy this business is with customers & their workers, its no wonder why they have left this shady business

I recently put in a mower, whipper & blower for service only to be told that they were not serviceable. Kind of strange since they all were working but needed blades changed etc to keep them going ok. Found out my dad had similar experience after I talked to him about it. I also checked out their price of new ones & found they were mostly dearer than elsewhere & they claimed that unpacking it & starting it is worth $50. Well everyone else I checked out did it for nothing too without making it out like it was a big deal. Looking at other reviews I don't expect that this place will respond to any complaints & neither do they aknowledge any of the good feedback. Should change their name from gyc to gyb.b for bother

Went to buy trimmer this week & was treated in very racist manner by Alex who always has treated me badly. I also realised that many new staff now & all the friendly staff were not working here anymore, must be bad work place. Will not go here anymore!

I purchased a ride on mower for my Husband the guys were very helpful they delivered it and set it up explained everything too him very friendly and knowledgeable very happy with my purchase AND great price.

You guys missed out on a $1200 sale on a mower this week.

I called, and was hanged up, then couldnt get passed your voicemail for the whole arvo, left a messege no call through the week.

My money went straight somewhere else, and a way better deal too!

Shocking service.went in to buy mower, trimmer & blower. The salesman, an older tall bloke with long hair, took a while before he got off from behind the computer screen looking busy? He speeled out a whole lot of features about the units I was inquiring about which did not match with features mentioned in the brochures. Then he walked away. After talking to a few friends & neighbours I found that they too experienced bad service & also told me that the pricing charged by this business is usually always above retail on most things they inquired about in the past

Best GYC I’ve ever came across, they give you discounts on bars and chains without any hassle they are very genuine and helpful staff. Keep up great work guys.

Bought a Honda ums425 and within two days it was delivered oiled, fueled and ready to go! Even in this current covid situation we are in, website was easy too use and i was prompted the whole way about my order. Thanks guys couldn't have been more happier! Stay safe!
