7 Great place to stop for a break.
Plenty of parking and possibly free camp for the night if passing through.
Heaps of shaded places away from the main car park.
When we arrived we weren't sure we where in the right place. There was not one person, but doesn't matter. There was a table, so we were under the roof and out of the rain. It was quiet cold. You do hear the cars but not excessively. You will see cute wild bunnies. Toilets no water.

Rock Pit fire for over night stay, perfect quick pull out for resting or an overnight.
Spacious, quiet, and has a toilet. I’ve seen 4-5 cars staying overnight. The lake was beautiful

Before entering Canberra, we can take a rest stop and enjoy the beautiful lake view.
We loved the little oak forest. I imagine in times past, people would have stopped here for a picnic and had a day near the lake. Some little signs talk about the surveying of the lake and its recent history.
Great spot, hard to find in the dark lol it was pitch black. Plenty of room, toilets, picnic tables.
